The Southern Front reserves (3 rifle divisions) were finally put to good use this turn [;)]
They were assigned to 9th Army (southern flank of this front AND very WEAK) and made possible attacks against the poor Rumanians: 3 divisions routed [:)] No active, I am NOT advancing.

Oh, and I unleashed the bears near Sevastopol as well. One German Infantry Division forced to retreat.

And the Kerch Strait thing. The 51st Army covers this part, attached to Caucasus Front.

And finally, I have formed 4 reserve armies (aka attached to Stavka). Each one has 4 rifle divisions and 1 tank brigade: 3rd, 10th, 33rd and 46th. All of them have support units as well.
I have sent the 4th Shock Army to the Southern Front (attached the same to Stavka) to reinforce the offensive down there.
And I have bought 3 Rifle Divisions and 10 Rifle Brigades (needed to form the defensive lines I already mentioned).

Turn 29

1 january 1942
1: During turns 25-27 the soviets may attack with 4 fronts.
2: During turns 28-34 the soviets may attack with 3 fronts.
3: During turns 35-37 the soviets may attack with 2 fronts.
4: No Front can attack for more than 3 turns in row - i.e. they must rest every 4th turn.
Oops, looks like on last turn (28) only 3 fronts were allowed to advance. My mistake (4 advanced)... again [:D]
This also means the Volkhov, Northwest and Southwest fronts CANNOT advance this turn. The "more than 3 turns in a row thing".

Ok, active fronts:
Leningrad
Bryansk
Southern
27 retreats this turn.
Leningrad attacks (active, I advance). As you can see I am going to carpet the whole rear with brigades and fortified regions. I won't take any risk (German '42 offensive). I want ALL the hexes to be fortified [;)]

Southwestern, northern part. Not active, but here I advanced in one place because there was a gap [;)] If I don't do that then he only would need to defend with few units... and I could not advance. Irrational. If he does not cover all the hexes (aka some sort of checkerboard), this has nothing to do with the rule, in my opinion. But I did not occupy the hexes after I kicked him out of them.

The Southern Front is active. Here I am terrorising the minor Axis Allies

The 4th Shock Army is coming... I will try to encircle the 3 big cities in this area: Stalino, etc., from the south and north.
