Based on the novel The 2020 Commission Report On the North Korean Nuclear Attacks Against the United States, by Dr. Jeffrey Lewis.

Part 2 has the player take command of surviving PACAF, 7th Fleet, and South Korean forces to take the fight to Kim Jong-un and destroy his ICBM launchers before North Korea's nuclear fire spreads to the United States!

Partially inspired by Admiral James Stavridis' novel "2034," this scenario is set in 2031, the PRC has neutralized and taken the Island of Guam, using it as a springboard to attack further into the pacific.

Over the last decade, American military readiness has been gradually depleted by major regional conflicts in Ukraine, Korea, and the Middle East:
- In 2023, the eventual intervention by NATO in the Ukraine-Russia War helped secure victory for allies but resulted in thousands of casualties and loss of hardware that was never fully replaced

- In 2027, the Second Korean Conflict saw US forces engaged in brutal trench warfare along the DMZ before a fragile ceasefire took hold, once again taxing men and machines

- In 2029, the prolonged Strait of Hormuz Crisis involved months of naval clashes and airstrikes to curb Iranian aggression in the Middle East, hindering Pacific fleet readiness

- The resolute defense of Taiwan against an attempted Chinese incursion in 2031 incurred considerable losses for both parties. China, having meticulously pursued a robust military buildup over the preceding decade, exhibited an enhanced capacity to absorb degradation within its force structures

With the balance of power in the Pacific hanging in the delicate limbo between cold war and outright conflict, both the US and China have worked to bolster their military posturing across the region.

Now, these tensions have finally boiled over. In a sudden, coordinated strike exploiting weakened US regional defenses, Chinese forces have managed to wrest control of the strategic island of Guam from American hands - establishing a key forward base and stronghold.

As commander of US INDOPACOM, the defense of Guam forms the core of your regional combat responsibilities. The loss of Andersen AFB and Apra Harbor creates a gaping hole in American force projection and logistical networks - one that China will be quick to exploit with further aggression.

In Operation: Liberty Dawn, take charge of modern US Combined Joint Task Force elements across air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace domains as you fight to retake Guam from occupying Chinese forces in this expansive yet concentrated realistic warfare scenario for CMO.

The integration of next-gen combat systems like hypersonic missiles, HELIOS lasers, and advanced networked sensors will be essential to overcoming the formidable Chinese A2/AD perimeter around the island. Success rests not only on your tactical prowess but also joint operations coordination, managing logistical pipelines, efficient air tasking order orchestration, and strategic fortitude in the face of attritional warfare.

Do you have the skill and resolve to win the battle for Guam?

In July 2024, after two years of intense combat, Russia's stalled invasion of Ukraine takes a dark turn as banned chemical weapons are unleashed across the Donbas. Seeking to break fierce resistance, Moscow launches a devastating thermobaric and nerve agent bombing campaign killing thousands of civilians.

With banned weapons now causing mass casualties, outrage sweeps Europe over this breach of civilized norms. Emergency NATO leadership meetings lead to a fateful decision - direct intervention is required to halt further atrocities. NATO issues demands for Russian forces to withdraw as planning begins for a systematic air campaign.

Reluctantly, the alliance agrees to force Putin's hand as diplomacy has only enabled violence so far. NATO imposes a No-Fly Zone over all sovereign Ukraine, including Russian-occupied Crimea and Donbass territories. Ready air forces across Europe and North America stand by for immediate deployment.

As NATO aircraft surge towards the embattled region, Russia refuses to acquiesce. Instead they vow to meet this "imperialist" coalition with "hundreds of advanced fighters and a layered integrated air defense system the likes of which the world has never seen."

The clock strikes 22:00 over Ukraine on July 13, 2024 - the first missiles rise into the dark skies as NATO rushes headlong into the inferno of all-out aerial warfare against a nuclear superpower. In the balance hangs the fragile peace of Europe in the 21st century.

In this scenario updated for Command: Modern Operations, take operational command of NATO's combined air power as it seeks to overwhelm Russia's formidable air force and anti-access area denial defenses. Coordinate F-35s, Rafales, Typhoons, F-16s and more from 13 different countries into a coherent air campaign. Take risks smartly to achieve escalation dominance - as the spectre of tactical nuclear warfare looms large. Manage battle rhythm, munitions, communications, and crucial intelligence - neutralizing hundreds of SAM sites while tackling fighters, bombers and even Russia's Black Sea Fleet.

France vs. Houthis in Yemen. Created this for myself and thought I'd share since its currently topical. The Houthi OOB is really totally supposition on my part. I wanted to use the French as, IMHO, they are the major power, other then the U.S.& UK, who might intervene in Yemen and what fun is lobbing 108 /154 USN TLAMs into the county and sailing away?

What if the IDF/IAF decided to go after the Iranian economic jugular at Kharg Island instead of a pinprick retaliation.

Will it come with a new game patch?

No. The CSP is not (should not) be included in official patches. There was a mix up at some point, my fault, where they accidentally got included in an official release. I maintain both the official scenarios and the CSP and accidentally included the CSP folder when I sent an update for the official scenarios. They should have been removed from any installers.
