The Italian search in Gulf of Guinea fail and they decline to seach in the Bay of Biscay.
No strategic bombing.
Axis, or Germany actually, make two groundstrikes. One in southern USSR that can not be intercepted and one in the North against Zhukov (HQA) that can be intercepted. So now I wonder if USSR will use its fighter to intercept my Ju-87D?

Germany counter-intercept the Soviet fighter and the first air combat against USSR ensues. Both sides rolls lousy and it ends with the bomber clearing after both fighters were aborted.

But the other ground strike went well. [8D]
Lets hope that I can take some advantage of it this turn.

General Tomoyuki Yamashita (HQI) debark to north-eastern Korea.
-----
Germany declare three attacks against USSR. No other Axis attacks.
The German attack odds from North to South as follows:
35:4 (Germany select LCT)
52:4 (+1 due to blitz bonus and Germany select LCT, USSR can attempt to give defensive HQ support)
Not shown in the picture is the attack on a Soviet mechanized west of Kiev:
36:7 (+1 due to blitz bonus and Germany select LCT)
Air support will be declared after the HQ support step.
Will Timoshenko (HQI) give defensive HQ?

I am sure that Stalin will send a aircraft to fly him to safety before it is to late. I suspect he will be back in command shortly, with a new staff.

Germany only fly one bomber in support of their attacks. A three strength Dornier Do 217E support the attack West of Kiev.
Will USSR fly any bombers, or fighters, in support of the three combats?

The two northern attacks were automatic. The one west of Kiev change from a 5:1 attack to a 6:1 (almost 60% chance for that to happen). Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the result. Maybe it was because I was so eager to get to advance all those nice units and give my opponent something to ponder on. The die roll of the attack was a 6.

doesn't moving from 5:1 to 6:1 gain you nothing at all on the 1d10 chart? forgot how that works with fractional odds.

Not if you get to select the blitz table as I did. Then there is a 6:1 table that increase the odds to stay organized significantly. And I consider that very important this early in the turn.

Japan rebase a fighter to Manchuria.
Italy rebase a fighter and a bomber, in Africa, closer to the current front near Alexandria.
Germany rebase two fighters to the new frontline in the USSR.
No reorganization.
