The Enterprise is running hard for Tarakan...I should have plenty of ships in that area...but this task force is doing a great job at blocking from the west.

An AMC and AK stick around Mersing instead of the flank run to Singora...and are sunk. Argh.

Enterprise lives for another day...what a frustrating turn. Especially losing the AMC and my bombers worthless attacks, and the SAGs reacting to the ACM letting the Enterprise get away.
Sigh.

What a carnage and fireworks...
Obvert is doing the fight for Indonesia the Allies did not but should have done...
This of course means that the Eastern-Southern door of the Pacific lies wide open and undefended...probably the reason Nimitz did not opt for massive defense of Java .
Can take any advantage of it?
