Sorry, Torsten. I overreacted big time.[:(]

It's no excuse, but the weather here is really grey as well. The Danish Meteorological Institute came out with data on number of hours of sunshine in the first ten days of November yesterday.

Average for the first ten days of November: 20 hours of sunshine.

First ten days of November 2009: 3 hours of sunshine.

I think I'll go hack some more Darkspawn to pieces, and see if I can score with the hot witch in my party. See you later, Brothers.

Thank you nik. But while I didn't intend anything evil, I now feel godawful. Not only does this cause me to remember the fate of my innocent family members, I also have to take insults, I don't think I deserve.

Maybe its just the gray weather that makes me so depressing, but I know feel... well, deeply hurt. Anyway, I am still sorry, I was a guest here and guests have to respect the etiquette.

no prob. I sometimes tell people that with my heritage, i can say that i've both won and lost two world wars. No wonder i'm strange. (Father's side - English. Mother's side Deutch)

Strange, but it allows me to see both sides of an argument most of the time. [:D]
It isn't a question of winning or loosing a war here. It's about what was the direct result of this armistice. I would feel exactly the same if I were french and my family had face the same fate.

Anyway. Thank you again for trying to treat me fair!

Oh , trust me, I haven't insulted you personally. I critized the "deed" not the doer. Now I will critized the doer, just so there is no mistake. How many times since you have joined us have you had people suggest that you not stir up political discussion on this forum? One mistake is just that. A number of them constitutes a pattern. Now comes the personal insult part. I suggest that you might be a "Troll" looking to stir up pain, anguish and anger for your own satisfaction. Apologies are all well and good, but fleeting and temporary. You know the rules , customs and procedures here Historiker. Try and follow them. Consistantly. If you unable to do so, then perhaps you should take a time out.

I didn't read all your postings , that's correct (as most hadn't been typed yet). When one is punched in the face , one doesn't wait around to see if it's followed by a smile, and a a "oops, my mistake". Take some time off, and use it to grow up. Insult over. [:@]

Jeez....speaking of overreacting. [8|]

Get over yourself. You ain't the board police.

celebrating the Armitice is a different kettle of fish i agree. Its expected that a country thats on a winning side would celebrate it. Celebrating it in the country that was on the losing side would be crass....its like pointing a finger at someone and going "Na Na.....we kicked your butts". The Internet being what it is of course.....national boundries get blurred. There's good and bad of course. Recently when Gunther Rall died, it was really cool to see all the condolences and positive thoughts pour in throughout the Internet forums i was visiting at the time.....regardless of country of origin. He was recognized as a gentleman and a warrior. No politics, no BS. It was a nice change of pace.

I figured maybe your involvement might have been limited to testing to make sure the menu buttons work. Hence, i've given it another chance.

What's it play like?

Steve, I can't compete with you by words in the way that might be appropriate here. Its not my mother language. So just one thing - and this time, I don't give a sh.. if this insults you:

If you are the one to decide when others are insulted while you also always decied when you are insulted - you're defenitly not someone I want to associate with.

When one moron talked about 911 I just shook my had and didn't understand, while you where outraged. For me, this was no cause to be insulted, you behaved like you'd like to behead him. When you told me the reason I tried to understand your point of view. I understood and consequently showed my sympathy.

But when its up to you, you don't care. You decide when I'm insulted, you decide when I intend something bad...

Well, you're most likely a fine man and have to be respected, but obviously, I should evade you!

Farewell and just the best for you!

What is Supremacy at Sea

A naval strategy game from a small Florida-based company called Naval Warfare Simulations. I helped beta it a couple of years ago.

If I have one point of critique about the game, it's that it tries to be too much at the same time.

It has three separate campaigns: Atlantic, Pacific and Mediterranean, and you're supposed to control all naval (surface, subsurface and air) ops, as well as production of ships and aircraft, design of ships and research into various applicable technologies, as well as intel.

It has both strategic and tactical turns, which you can set the length of yourself.

Do I dislike it? No. However, it's tried to do too many things, and because of this, it's done none of them really well.
