Hi Cap,
There is one thing u and the Birthday child might wana consider. Cuz of the early "scouting" in Darwin and jap gets a chance to attack there next turn. That could have the consequence that if u unload in next turn, but only "partially or what ever u might be exposed to an attack with high disruption cuz of unloading. So if u get a partial unload u might get defeated in detail.
This isnt a certain thing, depending on if he tries to attack, u unload capacity and so on. There could be merit in not unloading in the next turn, but there are dangers in it too so its not a clear cut thing. It could even work too ur advantage if he attacks and u get lots of AV offloaded. Just wanted to give a heads up.

I'm thinking the opposite. If enough troops get ashore in good enough condition, plus the Imperials are disrupted by air attacks, then an Imperial attack could be disastrous for the Empire.

I think I follow you. You are suggesting we get the Apaches to pay
US to take him back? Do you think they really would? Perhaps if we let them have him a few more days.

Unless we spot
Musashi coming in, I think we will push ahead with the landing as the tranpsorts are loaded at 35-45%, allowing the bulk to get ashore on day 1 (or in this case day 2). The fighters on the carriers are getting tired and the attack on Wyndham was quite effective so probably the B-24's can go over to ground attack on Darwin today.

If you're refering to the targeting question then I worked on the launch systems, not fire control. However why would you
do this if you're target wasn't defended by ABMs when both sides were only allowed one ABM site and the
Russian Galosh system was around a place beginning with M?

and I thought it had to do with the Crowns displeasure with the US trading with France, the Crowns Impressment of US ships and crew, and the Crown's support of an asymetrical conflict with US expansion? We have a long history of "going all in" escalating things from LIC to MIC [;)]

Looks like we had a
Kamikaze of our own to help out:

I think somebody answered this in the more general sense but I was drinking at the time and can't remember.
The above as asked about 4 pages back. No one appears to have answered it.
It isn't the tonnage displacement which matters; it is the cargo carrying capacity which does.
Iowa class 16" guns need an AE/AKE with a cargo capacity of 5400 for a reload.
Other 16" guns need an AE/AKE with a cargo capacity of 4480 to reload.
These are the two largest Allied gun rearming supply hogs.
