CW targets the Italian flagship and it suffers a lucky hit and is sunk. One Italian cruiser is sunk as well.

No strategic bombing. No ground strikes. No rail movement.
USSR slowly advance in Manchuria and continue to try and outflank the Japanese. China overrun a naval bomber on Hainan that rebase to Canton. With the passive Japanese army in China, and a failed pass, the situation for China looks fairly good. Or one could say that the Japanese situation in China is dire.
No land combats.
France rebase a fighter and a fighterbomber to Nice.
No reorganization.
Edit: The turn continues with a die roll of 6.

Com China rail a militia to Peking.
China slowly continue to outflank the Japanese army in China. With the help of partisans the Japanese Army is almost encirled.
The Soviet forces in Manchuria continue with their attempts to outflank the Japanese.
Soviet forces attack the Rumanian Army in Ukraine. The Chinese Communists attack the Japanese militia in Haichow.
Will Rundstedt provide defensive HQ support to the Rumanian defenders?

Will Germany provide the Romanians with any defensive air support? USSR does not provide any air support but they expect a plus one on the die because of their armour superiority. USSR has two fighters ready to intercept any German support.

Yes please - pile anything - fighter, bomber, fighter-bomber, hot air balloon - anything that can fly and has a gun. Hell, send up anything that can fly even without a gun - they can always ram the commie b******!

I missed that Japan can bring in defensive support as well. [:(]
Flying will bring the odds down from 7:1 to 5:1. Will Japan fly and, if so, where will the naval bomber land?

As far away as possible - preferably in Hungary or Romania as second choice - maximum range.
