replace a worn copy of "Arsenic and Old Lace"

Heilige Gottesmutter* A 2 year pre-release review copy!

*As my Uncle Hermann used to say until he was done for by some bloody Froggie machine gunner in front of Verdun.

The whole theory of modern education is radically unsound. Fortunately in England, at any rate, education produces no effect whatsoever. If it did, it would prove a serious danger to the upper classes, and probably lead to acts of violence in Grosvenor Square.”

Oh, let me have a go at it......Gordon Brown?[:)]

IIRC it comes from "The Importance of Being Ernest" a severely edited play I was part of in 9th grade at Lamar Junior HS in Austin, TX. Hopefully, cultural events in Austin have progressed there since I departed at the end of that academic year but at the time the play was probably the height of the cultural (low) bar.

Yes, it did really sound like Wilde. I think what he is talking about here is whether to read the manual or not (to).

I am not sure. Wasn't Oscar that said "There is no such thing as moral or immoral manuals. Manuals are well written or poorly written. (sic)" And most of us know where lies the AE manual.

Santa Maria! Next time you should make local inquiriy first. You might have been killed. [:)] Of course, this now means you have to wait 3 days for turns just like the proletariat.

As Cap would say, "Nombre de Dios!". You make it sound like a book.

Recent naval losses (less mine vessels and patrol). Note that Yamato is NOT on the list. Most likely IJN sub losses are overstated.

********Suppry Situation, Mandrake Household********

In order to protest the firing of the Mayan and the fact that nobody does any work around here since SG broke her ankle, I instituted a boycott against me doing any household work to teach everyone a lesson. Well, the sanctions have really begun to bite, I tell you. They have begun to bite me. I don't have any cups for my coffee. I have been wearing athletic socks to work for 3 days. Friday I even broke down and wore my button fly Ralph Laurens to work. I was hoping to save them, expecting them to appreciate in value after he died, but I was desperate.

I am hoping one of those 750 ton Dutch AKL's will show up today with Lucky Strikes, socks and underwear.

Pranning is fun, for a change.

Benkoelen and Padang are two possible choices for SW Sumatra landings. Both have existing small airstrips whihc are crucial to have quickly so the carriers dont have to be subjected to LBA for too long.

Two islands offshore are still green dots and are buildable to level 6 but with crappy ports

Is nest the collective noun for LYB airfields?

Merak is highly vulnerable to JJ naval bombardment. Buitzenzorg(?) has a crappy port (none). I think they will be waiting for you at Tjilaljap and, even worse, it is even harder to spell.

I wasn't really sure...it might be "pod" or "covey". Maybe it's in the manual.
