Orders have been given for a Deliberate Assault tomorrow.
In the air fierce air battles raged over Rangoon on the 20/21st with the Japanese shooting down more planes (mainly hurricanes - losses about 25 vs 10) but Faber lost about 35 planes on the ground due to bombing (mainly bombers).
Supply is still lacking from Toungoo but advance aviation personnel are on hand now so 95 fighters flew in from Calcutta (SpitV/VIII's and P40N's).

Sumatra:
The main force of troops heading for Djambi have reached Swalohento.
The only action of note was over Djambi on the 21st when an Allied air raid was met by the usual mix of first line Jap fighters. Losses were about even (15ish each).

SS Grunion sank
PB Keiko Maru off Balikpapan on the 21st.
SS Hammerhead sank
AK Tazan Maru off Okinawa with 2 torpedoes.
