Would need to make a change to our database architecture or would cost of us probably 40+ hours in copying and pasting for what is more or less a cosmetic change of text line. Sorry this is probably not in the cards at this point. Time->value thing.

Thanks!

I totally agree!
I will however then make a list of suggestions for generic ground units that would be suitable to add to beef up the custom options. It's also in that department that I have encountered the nation specific unit class names.
Any inputs on my previous request to give small arms the possibility to target and destroy aircraft?
Yeah that would be great. FWIW I've added some of Mark's tanks to that list in an upcoming updated.
Guys we've got to really balance our time for now until we hit some goals after that we can attack some of these other projects. I do have a short list of db specific things I want too but have to wait. We'll get there though so please be patient with us.

I belive you have to redo the THAAD Battery.
A THAAD Battery consists of six truck-mounted M1075 launchers, 48 interceptors (8 per launcher), a THAAD Fire Control and Communications (TFCC) unit aka Tactical Station Group (TSG), and one AN/TPY-2 radar.

The addition of a truly generic infantry platoon makes the following a low priority request, as these can easily be simulated with the generic platoon, but I wonder if some of the nations more likely to be involved in military actions or peacekeeping missions (e.g., France, Japan, India, Greece, etc.) should have their own Inf Plt units added? Just a thought.
RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Yeah I've got a small project lined up for that. Want to increase ammo, evaluate fc systems a do a few other things.
Right now though getting 1.04 out is priority.

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Hello!
I would like to request the change of swedish airforce turn-around times. The SwAF ground crews have a turn-around time for refueling and rearming of 10 minutes for empty/ferry and AAW loads, 15 minutes for reconnaissance and 30 minutes for attack load-outs. Be it on regular bases or dispersed war time bases. Is this something that can be reflected in the databases? This was ordered 1958 and was introduced in the years coming. Still valid for the maintenance today.

DB# 948 - F450 Elli[Kortenaer] Greece 92- Should be able to carry AB212 ASW or EW Helo but cannot as the pad and hanger are for small AC only. I think the solution is to change the pad and hanger to med size AC.

Already asked, but very important to scenarios of the Black Sea, the SIGINT ship Elettra (Italian Navy).

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Some North Korean issues (albeit always highly speculative):
The update says the Najin with Kh-35s was added, but I don't see it in the database.
For something carrying an ASW helicopter, the new Nampo (#2626) doesn't have any ASW capability of its own. No sonar and no ASW weapons. The article showing it indicates positions for four RBU-1200 launchers.

Would it be possible to make the 5"/45 guns on the US Aegis ships more capable vs. missile threats by adding more ammunition types?

U.S. Navy combat ships equipped with 5-inch guns are about to get more lethal. Next fall, ATK will begin delivering the new Multi-Option Fuze, Navy, or MOFN, for ammunition fired from MK 45 weapon systems.
Army Contracting Command just awarded ATK a five-year contract worth $84 million to produce the MK 437 MOFN for the Navy. The Army’s Joint Products Office manages the program for the Navy.
These specialized fuzes provide proximity, precision time, delay and point detonating impact options in a single fuze, ATK officials maintain. The inductive fuze setting feature also optimizes MOFN for use with automated ammunition handling equipment. MOFN will be used on projectiles fired in the MK 45 Single Lightweight Gun Mount on Navy cruisers and destroyers.

The U.S. Navy uses ATK's MK419 Multi-Function Fuze for 5″/54, 5″62 and 76 mm ammunition. The fuze provides point-detonation, electronic (variable) time, and height-of-burst, air (proximity) and autonomous modes. The MK419 operates in autonomous mode for gun systems without a fuze setter in development.
Key Features
Ability to engage Fast Attack Craft (FAC) which provide a serious threat to Navy ships
Engagement of very small Radar Cross Section (RCS) targets
“Use-As-Is” existing MFF AIR Mode fuzing capabilities
Engagement range from 1400ft to 9500 yards
Ability to engage targets in various sea states

New Mk-59 decoy system
http://www.navy.mil/submit/display.asp?story_id=78320
The system itself consists of a deck-mounted launch tube similar to the SLQ-49 "Rubber Duck" system phased out in the 1990s. Upon firing, the decoy automatically inflates on the surface beside the ship and floats freely past the stern to effectively counteract inbound threats. The advanced system offers increased defense capability against modern anti-ship missile threats, providing additional protection for the U.S. and its allies.
Ramage is the first ship to receive the Mk 59 installation, with additional surface combatants scheduled for the next five years.

I attended a defense trade show in Indonesia a couple years ago and I know for a fact that several sensors onboard are Chinese and not "integrated". I have a few pictures of the vessel, would that help you? If yes, PM or email me.ORIGINAL: mikmyk

Hi All
Need some help digging up info to complete some of your requests. Combat Fleets 2013 and googling isn't coming up with much:
Indonesian missile boat KRI Clurit (KRC-40 Class)
Anybody know the sensors these vessels carry?
Australia- Stonefish Mk. III fine. Lots of Mk.II out there but not so much on Mk.III any details would help.
Myanmar- Aung Zeya Frigates- Need sensor info. Vast differences between internet sources and paper sources on what SSM's are carried.
Thanks!
Mike
Edit: I may even have the manufacturer's datasheet, but not much info on it IIRC
Yeah anything you could share would be great. Thanks!
Mike
Another addition for Myanmar, perhaps...it is unclear if this is a separate class or not (maybe it is just the "flight II" ships in this class?)

Myanmar I've kind started on but tons of gaps in published data so sorry to say it will take some time for us as we've got to look at pictures and try and piece lots of different things together.

No problem. When I looked for information on the frigate, I saw how little was available, although perhaps various reference works have more data, so I figured it might be a while. Thanks.
