The CW want to try some Strategic Bombing but storm conditions make this a no-no.

The weather is also causing a problem for the Soviets with most of their frontline units out of supply in the north. Things suddenly look a bit precarious for the Soviets - who now regret the attacks earlier in the turn in the south that caused many of their units to be disorganised....

As far as the northern units are concerned, as they are out of supply, they desperately do not need to be disorganised as the combat factors will plummet.

A general pull back is ordered... the units will be disorganised but at least will be back in supply.

The weather is lousy - Storm in the Arctic and Northern Temperate Zones make much progress unlikely for the Germans...

The south is pretty much played out for both sides this turn, but in Latvia and Belorussia, there will be action...

There are no HQ's to support and no aircraft can fly so the program moves straight to the resolution phase. First up its the attack in Latvia against the 2nd Guards Motorised Army. Barring absolute disaster this attack should be straight forward for the Germans, who have two powerful Panzer, and three strong Infantry Corps available.

The roll is a 13 and the Soviet unit is destroyed for no loss. Riga is now surrounded and the breach in the Soviet line has become a chasm...

In Belorussia, the attack should be even more straight forward. The Soviet 7th Guards Infantry is out of supply and disorganised so only counts for 3 factors. The Germans choose Blitzkrieg and launch the attack.

Its a 12. The defender is destroyed and the Germans are untouched.

Back to the Allies and the weather remains bad, with aircraft grounded. It will be a case of tidying up the line for the Soviets and continuing the painful attempts to get rid of Partisans in India for the CW.

The Indians launch an attack against some Partisans that have sprung up in Deilhi. Mountbatten provides HQ support. The Axis choose the Assault table, but a roll of 17 destroys the defender.

Bad news for the Allies - the throw is a 10 and the turn continues. The only good news is that the Storm weather continues... However, this won't save the 4th Motorised and 39th Infantry Armies in Riga for much longer as they are now out of supply.

Once again the Germans look for two attacks - one southwest of Pskov and the second in the forest between Minsk and Mogilev.

In the north, the 2nd Guards Garrison and 3rd Infantry Armies are the next Soviet forces to face Army Group North's armoured juggernaut - can they put a stop to their havoc-wreaking turn? The Blitzkrieg table is chosen by the Germans.

And the answer is yes! Finally the run comes to an end, despite an 11 being thrown. The 57th Panzer Corps is destroyed and all units disorganised. The Soviets lose just the Infantry Army.

To the south, the Blitzkrieg table is also chosen. A throw of 13 shatters the defenders and the Germans do not convert to retreat. The Germans cannot advance as they would be out of supply.

The Allies, desperate for the turn to end, pass with all major powers, and sure enough the turn does finish.

The Americans can now re-base the Pacific Fleet to Pearl!

Sadly the oil rule problems are showing themselves - the Germans have insufficient oil for all their units next turn....

The Allies win the initiative. The Germans could definitely do with it and request a re-roll. They lose the re-roll too.....

Good job putting together this AAR.

1 request. Could you show off Europe and Asia to give an idea how it looks globally. The big picture.

The Royal Navy needs to start moving Transports around as there are a number of Aussie and Canadian units that need transporting.

The USN begin to move the fleet to Pearl. Saratoga, Washington and Chester are the first three to go.
