Happy to report that there was no brain fart. The 1st Polish army will arrive on 03/30/44. I guess the 2nd Polish army is triggered by location.

impressed that your progress is such that a mere 12 division pocket is 'small' ...
Its becoming very hard to see where Stef can seriously delay you once the weather clears

Stef is able to open the pocket but I close it again. Also further north I cut off Konigsberg and encircle some security regiments. Further south I encircle three divisions in level 2+ fortifications. They will have to move out of their forts now.

Konigsberg will fall before mud. I just had to assemble all the artillery.

This is a brutal phase of the game. I am trying more and more risky attacks but only some of the absurdest attacks (hasty during mud) fail. I am very surprised how the Axis falls apart during at this late stage of the game. Kudos to Stef for playing this one to the end.
