Fleets start putting to sea. Starting with France

BB Richelieu and a CA sail to Biscay. I figure Mayhemizer will decline the intercept and they stop in the 4-box.

2 CA go from Syria to the East Med 4-box, another goes to the 0-box and a sub to the 2-box (again I figure Mayhemizer won't bother trying to intercept).

2 BB and 9 CA head from Oran into the West Med. I'm not sure how Mayhemizer would want to call this one. Does the He-115 wish to intercept?

Yes, I want to intercept in West Med. Earlier there was no need to intercept.

On a 5, the attempt does not succeed and the task force sails to the East Med 3-box (I declined the intercept).

A French sub goes from Oran to the Italian coast 4-box. The 4 slower BB's sail out into the West Med. The He-115 only just misses them (3 rolled) and they head to the East Med 2-box.

Apart from sending out the escorts, Hermes swaps for Illustrious in the West Med 3-box, Illustrious returning to Gib. Victorious sails to St. Vincent 0-box. 4 BB's and CV Eagle sail to Biscay 3-box. 4 BB's leave Gib to West Med. The intercept succeeds on a 1 and they elect to stay in the 3-box. 3 CA also sail out from Gib into the West Med. The intercept fails on a 7. They sail on to the East Med 4-box, where they are joined by the CA Malta.

The US sens a Marine corps to Pago Pago and an Inf starts the journey to Midway. One of the Trans that went out empty last turn [:@] returns to the US.

USSR puts a BB in the Baltic 3-box.

The French CA initiates searching in Biscay. It makes a hash of it, rolling a 7 German optics prove somewhat better as they roll a 1. Which boxes do the Germans wish to include? I presume just the 0-box?

Not quite sure what there is in other boxes but 0 box sounds good

4 points takes it to X, 2D. 8 points takes it to 2X, D, 2A.

All to increase own damage. Axis will abort after first round.

First to go are the 3 undamaged CA/CL's. In the North Sea, they find a welcoming committee of 4 CA/CL in the 4-box. Allied intercepting is no better than the searching as they roll a 10, allowing the 3 ships back to Kiel.

A roll of 6 lets the two damaged ships through.

Nelson and the aborted CP went to Liverpool.

St. Vincent and Nth Atlantic are declined.

A French CA in the 4-box initiates searching. Rolls of Allies 5 and Axis 4 draw a blank and so ends the great French naval effort.

I presume the Axis will want a go in these two?

Yes please. Use any German sub in North Atlantic to initiate combat.
