The strategy I've adopted in this PBEM is that the best place to sink an enemy warship is in deep waters. I did so with the Prince of Wales and Repulse, the two best BBs extant in the Pacific theatre. I wouldn't trade them for Arizona and Oklahoma. I look forward to sinking those and the rest of America's BBs in deep water.

The Repulse is a BC not BB, as she has lighter armor with only 6 x 15 inch guns and would not stand up to an American BB, with superior armor and between 9 to 12 guns and between 14 or 16 inch type.

She was rearmoured and had BB guns. I could argue that she was a BB but Kirishima wasn't. Cest la guerre.

She was fast, and as such a credible escort for the US CVs. That is why I value her above anything present at Pearl on 12/7/42.
