I know we've gone quiet over here lately, but you'd be amazed at what we have acheived in the last week alone. You will not recognize this game when it's done.

Keep up the good work! I'm interested guys are you using same "engine" for pilot pool like WiTP? (i assume it is very similar). As you may know, due to big losses during war (in WiTP) all available slots can be "filled" (about 30 K?) and this causes annoying glitch where alive pilots starts to missing from their group...

For example... one Jap airgroup sitting in the middle of nowhere (in some rear base, beyond war area) have 36 pilots and planes, but next day have only 16 pilots left. The missing pilots are - i guess - lost forever.

thanks in advance!

Well, the engine is are older model I would say, we have 50,000 pilot slots

this game will start to over write dead pilots if it needs more slots, we looking at trying to make sure it works the way it was planned and work with the dead pilots with out kills first :)

If you like the Mustang, it is one of a number of diecast models available from Eagles International http://www.onmarkint.com/eagles/

They are very good quality. I believe they are developed from kits made by someone almost as good as Carlos.

...and yet another. I'm gradually trying to fill in the major types of planes that I know from BTR. Unfortunately there is not yet a good kit for the P51-B, so the Mustang III will have to cover for now. Another problem is finding a kit for the Me 410 but I have a decent one in a smaller scale that I'll get around to. Right now I've started on a He-51, which doesn't fit in with the BTR collection.

There are lots of decent kits of Bfs, however.

Sir, you make some very impressive models!

Thanks... I have an even nicer Bf109 F-4 Trop that is in the process of building right now. Here is a sample picture of the cockpit before it got closed up:

Hopefully I will be forgiven for continuing to clutter up this space with pictures like this. I haven't heard anyone say "no" yet...

BTW, the canopies on the previous two models were custom vacuum formed by me. Handy for bubble canopies.

Nice, as usual [8D] I really liked the Tempest on the previous page. I wish I had the time and (more importantly) the skill to do stuff like this.

The closest I can do are these

This one doesn't have relevance to BTR but turned out well. Again, I vacuum formed my on canopy for this. Also, all the flaps, ailerons etc. actually move. I scratch built the catapult for the display.

Wow. Does that plane really have a two bladed prop? It seems like with the horsepower it has it should be able to easily move a three or four bladed prop.

Very nice picture though.

All of them are great pictures...a lot of work went into those.

Kudos.

Well it is actually only a nine cylinder radial engine as opposed to the 18 cylinder engines that we are accustomed to seeing on the fighters. I also was pretty surprised by the two bladed prop.
