No, it says you failed to hold the high ground. You certainly took it, but a couple of turns after your battle ended, while your troops were 'mopping up', the rest of the Tiger kompanie showed up and kicked you off the hill and back to your start line. [:D]

go back to the end of battle map and check for anymore VH's that u might have missed??and maybe tally up what the german side had for units left at the end to see if it looks like the AI called for reinforce?? cause with u inflicting a marginal with those enemy casualties,,, the only thing I can think of is that the DESIGNER predetermined the results in precoarse so as to continue the storyline of the campaign reguardless of the single battles outcome??

Wild Bill most certainly did this...
My comment to ALby was just a joke; he didn't miss any of the VHs, and there weren't any other enemy forces to fight. I believe Bill had a storyline to follow and the actual result of the battle was immaterial to the story.

I have deployed on the high ground and await the expected German/Italian attack.
My lines are thin and can only hope I can hold out.
I have 4 M10s, some 57mm ATGs, some HMgs, an Infantry Squad
and a couple of Shermans left to defend this area....
I may be in trouble.

The Assault begins with some smoke, a barrage from a 150mm battery and Stugs and Infantry in the center, and so far a tiger Stugs, and some infantry in the North.
A couple of my 57mm ATgs have been disabled and we have took out a couple Stugs...I hope we can hold on!!
HQ has stated some reinforcements are on the way.
(I didnt call for them, they are already set in the battle..[:)] )
