Would it be possible to sign me up for the tournament? I prefer to play Axis.
Hi There fcam1387:
It is actually possible but does require a few things.
First you should re-read the rules and understand you will have 2 games going at a time, one as Axis and one as Allies.
2nd
There has to be a total of at least 3 new players that want to join so that I can start a second list and They all have to join by the end of this weekend so that their games are not very far behind the current list. If this was to happen then as these players become elligible for the next round they will be put on the main list. So dig up a couple more players, read the rules in the first post, join the ladder and post back here by the end of the weekend.

Sounds fair enough.
One other thing: Could there be a problem when two opponents become eligible for the next round at the same time (e.g. because of a draw)? It might not be intended that they'd have to play against each other once again.

By the way, Haudrauf1962 vs. GKar is well into 1940 now, and GKar vs. Forwarn45 should be tomorrow.

It is intended that they will play each other again, but I will order them in the list so that they play the opposite side from the game that they just drew on.

My game with Erik has reached 1942. Not sure if I'll have time for an AAR, but may try to do a short one. And Gkar and I have reached 1940.

Okay, their fault for not eliminating one player then. [:D]

I'd try opening a thread about it looking for two fellow players then. [:)]

Are we sure we should be using this thread to post updates on where the game status's are? Isn't that going to fill this forum up with lots of really non-interesting information?

Heh - Forwarn is absolutely steamrolling me! The AAR would be a good example of what not to do as the Allies and how to play a perfect game as the Axis. A tremendously educational experience.

Playing AWD is hard when it is hard to concentrate on anything. I'm a little sick at the moment and thus game progress is slow. ("Wait, where did I want to put that again? Hmm, maybe later." - "Must ... evaluate ... strategy ..." - "Supplies? What supplies? Oh yeah, I need more supplies for that.")
Thanks to my opponents for the patience they've shown. I'll do what I can do. [:)]

Argh! The amount of unfavourable rolls is incredible in my game versus Forwarn! [:@]
Combined with my limited PBEM experience as the Axis I sense an early death...

As Gkar notes, he has had a tough start - but we are still very early in that game (1940). I wouldn't count out his Axis hordes yet! My game with Erik has concluded and been reported at wargamer. It ended in an Axis Av in mid-43. Good game! [:)]

Are the games listed below still in 1939?
I understand Lebatron must have a lot going on with moving and returning to college.
I am just curious about the progress of the games.
Game Axis------vs---------Allies-------------Game Year
01) Avatar47--------------aaminoff----------------1939
02) christian brown-------Avatar47--------------1939
09) Lebatron--------------kondor-----------------1939
10) mikemcmann---------Lebatron---------------1939
