AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 12/21/41 - COMPRESSED
The Animals were very happy with the turn. At first glance, you might think they were right, but what didn’t happen is more important: The stranglehold on the Chinese “Cauldron” was not broken, and indeed the IJA retreated to strengthen the Chinese hold. A rescue ship to try to retrieve the 6th Indian Brigade was not found or attacked. And several brigades retreating towards Singapore were able to get past the Japanese roadblock.

The 6th Indian Brigade was pushed the wrong direction and is cut off. I have been attempting to evacuate it by air, but nothing has happened, probably due to low morale. A ship is in port and will hopefully evacuate some of the troops this turn... and the air evacuation attempts will continue.
