According to my careful calculations 37 Soviet units were destroyed in turn 4:

One significant battle that occurred during the Soviet turn: Over 200 aircraft attacked 4 Axis destroyers and neither side inflicted any losses on the other. That is simply unbelievable. You'd think that out of 200 aircraft one of them might get lucky and the destroyers had a target rich environment to hit something. I have no explanation for the results:



Results like these raise doubts about the land unit combat results.

I found out that I have been treating the Hungarian and Romanian units as if they were the Heavy Rifle Squads of the regular German units and these results tell me that I cannot do that. Several minor country land units have already been evaporated.

So what's a person supposed to do when a combat result forces one of the railroad dudes off the rails. Are we reduced in our choices to just disband it and wait for it to reconstitute? Or does it even reconstitute?

Yes, disband it. And thank you for catching my first mistake, the rail crews get no replacements. I'll have to add some for them.
