should be a easy battle, the Russians never put up a good fight at sea, they like to stay in sight of the land

even worse, they got lousy morale, and I am close and bearing down on them, going to just bull rush, and pound them into the waves, need to get this one over with, and on the cheap, I may be facing a lot of English ships, if the pull out of harbor when I cross the channel

as I close in, one hassle is I cut off alot of fireing lanes, my Frigates, I am hopeing to slip them off to the flanks and sail around to the back and just snap off some chain or ball into the sails
got a little opening here, so I will take a pot shot
OH MY

dang !
I counted 9 ships catching on fire from that bang, that is a record for me (of course, one of those on fire is the ship that is quickly settleing under the waves, so that fire at least, should last long)
got to be a hammer to the morale

got a couple of ships behind the line, they turn and either fire into the sterns, or try to grapple
one of the ships still on fire from the BOOM, grapples a Russian ship
and then
OH MY

22 ships caught fire from this one !
and it was a double explosion, so 22 ships caught fire twice, I got ships with 3 and 4 fires burning, the middle of my line is in shambles, my morale on those ships has shattered
at least the damage is as bad for them as it is for me
now that is a record for me

well, to the good, I took 15 Russian ships, nasty battle, the English didn't chance the channel and I all but slipped though, so over all the plan worked as planned, other then all the dead sailors and damaged ships
I kept one ship from the fire sale

just love it when a plan works, even better when it works and it wasn't part of the plan !
defeated a Swede Fleet, but they broke and ran before I could hammer them, they then ran into the blockage fleet, and ran before I could damage it, they ran to a Swede Port
then a English Fleet, with a lot of SOLs showed up
nice big battle, lots of heavy damage on both sides

9 ships were captured, but only one was kept, all those nice lovely SOLs, handed over for timber (well, that should save a forest or two back in France)

run into the Swede Army in there Cap, they put up a brave fight, but couldn't hang with the big boys
hmmmm, by the looks of the panic, I guess they have heard about what happens at the French after victory party and do not want to be the guests of honor for this one !

as I have been saying, plans with in plans, I march on Sweden, and I know that the Ossites will be going to war with me shortly, and in a few very short time, the Prussians will be able to DOW on me
I march into Sweden, the time runs down and I go to war and March into Ossiteland, win the war with Sweden and now my troops from the North are sitting outside of Berlin, waiting to see what the Prussians want to do
good timing
Anacona falls, but Rome is still in place
I take two provinces from the Ossites, with out a fight, then Nappy marches on Vienna, for a large battle
I just got the Flanking Strat upgrade and a chance to use it, so time to get fancy
try to decoy the Ossites, move my Cav down to them, and put up a screen, they can't see though it, but know there is other units behind it
while I complete the flanking move

of course, it may work better if I don't flank right next to one of his cities
