The Axis Powers accept the armistice, and truce in place. The peoples of the former Soviet Republics will join the Reich in a new European Union. The conditions for making peace are that the Western Allies make peace with the Japanese under the same "truce in place". We would not abandon our allies.

The German decision to vastly increase their production capacity was certainly a wise one.

(Great fun, as always. The French ambush of the Italian Fleet was very strong.)

Great fun!? You stand on the other side of that wall of onrushing mechanized and motorized forces! But indeed great fun, as always. that was some strategy you employed, build strategy, I mean. That could become the template for all play now.

Excellent AAR. Thank you to both players for the entertaining read.

This is the first "GER and UK +50% PP game" that comes to completion. Half Again is still not that close to be decided. Just wondering if Gary thinks that he could have hold off the Germans without using the budgeting method that according to him has hurt him a bit. Or is the conclusion that this +50% setting is overcompensating the Axis disadvantage now too much? One game is probably not enough to decide.

You can now retaliate in Reprise and enjoy being on the other side. I am getting a bit worried after seeing this.

With my mistakes, can't decide. That mobile force of Chuck's was awesome, but don't know if it was due to the plus 50.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

19420509 : The USA has revealed something having to do with a borough of New York City, or something like that, to the British and ever perfidious Albion has reneged on their offer. The USA and Great Britain will continue to wage the war under new leadership. This leadership is very rabid for war, but we suspect they are nowhere near as skilled as the former team. (Switching to AI for the Westearn Allies).

The division that landed in Casablanca was actually done be me, a few turns before the USSR was conquered.  I was going to see how long it would take you to notice that the division was creeping east.

I thought that might be a little too sophisticated for the AI. I don't remember how I noticed it, but I think the game left the screen pointing right at that spot when the turn crossed over! It was hard to miss given that.

The AI is doing an acceptable job in the North Atlantic killing my subs, but the real damage to the subs came in your big naval battle.

Do you think the AI will invade? I really wonder, and they would be wise not to do so. The Axis production is formidable.

Well, the British had a hefty PP reserve when I left the game, as did the Amis.
