Did the Japanese troops actually have 'cheesecake'? Got to say that there are a lot of examples of them using a Western style for propaganda to Allied troops, but would be very interested in anything designed for 'internal consumption'. Would gladly welcome a PM if material is not suitable for forum.

Short answer seems to be no.

In a way I hate the former one. It sounded like "try to come home apiece someday in the future darling, while I am having fun partying and drinking martinis with some random Air Force captain back home"..

And think about morale: at least an ugly GF would give you the needed spirit to keep on serving your country abroad without asking questions! A soldier should be encouraged to stay on the frontline, not eager to get back home, damn it! [:'(]

This would make you want to go home.

Now that, boys and girls is a pilot. And even though us folks on the Red team look upon our neighbors in the air scouts with a slightly jaundiced eye, I gotta say these boys know their legs - woof! them things go aaaaalll the way home!

Your set of pinups rotates too quickly through the different ladies for me to get a good look at them.  How about slowing them down?
 
BTW, the 'modernised' version of the lady with the records looks a lot like Marie Osmond.  Nice touch there...
