I've uploaded it to a file server and all you guys can find the latest version of D21 at this address:

http://www.mediafire.com/?znz2rygmrzn

Thanks to sPzAbt653 and TP00 for all their hard work on D21.

EDIT: adjusted the url to point to the 29NOV2009 version of Directive 21 package.

I've put together a 'movie' of the moves in turn 11 into one large file so that the entire front lines and all the movement of everything can be seen in one picture.  You can find this bad boy at this url:

http://www.mediafire.com/?fwo13yg0nrz

By the way it's named figure 295 because I'm including pictures like this one in my super detailed AAR.  They are html documents to be opened in your browser and some of them include movies, real movies, and if you're not following the documents you're really missing out.  You can find all the documents in this thread:

tm.asp?m=2295777

enjoy.

Hey you guys....sorry to bring you bad news but it just seemed to me to be a duplicate of information published elsewhere to be doing an AAR here and a super-detailed AAR elsewhere so I've decided to save Matrix Games some disk space and just continue the super detailed AAR and discontinue this one.  Hope you don't have heartburn about this decision but it'll save me a lot of time and MG a lot of disk space.  Well, maybe a little disk space.  Thanks for your interest in this project.

It looks like I may be through with the beginners how-to and can continue this AAR here.

Here's a picture of a couple of breakthroughs I made near Smolensk.

I decided to take a major risk and execute an elabrate left hook in the Leningrad area to try to isolate and destroy several Soviet divisions, arty units, and other equipment to the NW of Leningrad.

Good choice. If you can cut his supply lines and isolate his units, then you will have bought yourself some more time.... I don't see lots of reserves at his side either.
