This is a gritter - spreads grit on the roads. Glad I found the pic on the web really, as it's been quite some time since I last saw a real one!

Do these things still exist? I thought they suffered extinction due to Global Warming...

Apparently so teddy, though as I said, I haven't seen one in quite some time!

If you mean where the little wooden wall is on the right? Then it's an area where we have our Guinea pigs housed. We have a double level hutch for our two Guinea Pigs, but we've moved the hutch into the shed just now...so this area is empty for the time being. We just put the little wall up to give them an exclusive area...we actually remove one off the bricks that sit under the wooden wall so they can get out into the garden in the spring and summer...better than a lawnmower (if you have enough of them!)

As long as the storms are on the weekend (which they've been so far).. I don't mind!.. lol I'm sure my kids prefer during the week so that school will get cancelled!

I prefer during the week, thank you very much.........I hate ruining my weekend with snowstorms.
