speaking of changing Leaders

here I decide to change von Leeb, with Balck, but, since he is not a high enough rank, it is going to cost me more, plus he has to take some die rolls to see if his skills will remain the same

which not every battle in a story is normally posted, so you don't get to see the losses

it ended up taking 3 attacks to drive that hex back, once those took place, decided to rest my armor, so, will try for some POWs and stablize the line

here is my Rail Net in the north, just changed over 4 more hexes, the supply to the City front will be good, but the flank is very poor (besides all the swamps !)

that is also as far as AGN got, only 29,500 losses inflicted this time around (but, if I can hold, I got 10 Divs trapped for next turn)

and then my armor should be rested and stocked up

(6 are stuck, the other 4 could be freed with out much trouble, other then getting other troops killed off)

Thanks for the screenshots Hard Sarge.

Is the "morale" number some sort of modifier to the morale of the forces under his command, or does it strictly effect personal performance?

figured I show some shots from which the details are coming from

up North, think this is the biggest battle I have had so far

8 German Inf Divs vs 3 SU Rifle Divs (along with a Tank Div and another Rifle Div, plus cycle Reg and a gun Reg, wasn't expecting them !)

I also got some decent Air support, the SU try to add in some of there own, but...

Hi Sarge
Keep up the good work with the ss
What are the colour codes for the various air missions?

the rules are being written, so maybe the "writer" will see and comment, as I got to go by what I remember, so on a lot of this, I may forget the real idea, and just go off of what I remember

Morale for a Leader, IIRC, any is good, but the higher the more it helps, like Init, you got dies rolls, all the way up and down the command chain (so say something like Init, you got Corps, Army , Army Group, and then High Command, so if the first one misses, the next one may help, as it gets higher, the chance is worse, but it could still make a roll, and help out, again, the others may be able to give better details)

colors and lines

hmmmm, I know off hand, what is the form up field and what is shown flying to the form up field, not sure any more how the rest of it works or shows :(

okay, new version is out, so I got to restart what I was taking my shots from (a shame, I think that was one of my better starts, I was cutting off Leningrad, had Smolisk, had taken Kiev and Odessa, had reformed my Panzer groups in the center, caught up to my Panzers in the south, and it was middle of July)
