I appreciate you letting us know that there would be no patch last weekend. It stopped me from wasting time checking the forums regularly. Can you let us know for definite if there will be no further updates this weekend too?

Looks like not unfortunately, but I think at this point next week is pretty much guaranteed.

Thanks for keeping us so well informed. It stands in total contrast to how major developer Firaxis is treating their Civilization V customers. It seems to be an established fact that small indie developers offer much better support than large, big-budget companies even though it should seem it would be the other way around. I think one of the biggest faults of the gaming industry is keeping the fans of their games in the dark, which for obvious reasons generates a lot of frustration and anger.

Kudos to you and the rest of the Matrix team.

Elliot is the one and only developer of the game? What's your source?

Earlier threads from when the game came out, if you check the credits for the game you'll see some other people as well (don't want to minimize their contribution) but the core game (and by core I mean a lot of the game) comes from Elliot...he did the youtube vids as well. The question is what is he not doing.

Pretty impressive work, if it's all coded by one guy. I expected 3-4 people coding. One dude - he's gotta have a chemical toilet in front of his keyboard, for the time involved. Hell of a lot of work for one guy.

Why does Matrix release information give him the title, "Lead Designer and Programmer"? Lead of... 1?

I think the game credits have Eliott as everything, followed by "additional artwork" by another guy, then a big list of beta testers, who are actually members of this forum.

More good news is Elliot is doing the rounds on the tech support forum right now. That's usually a good sign that a new patch is being ironed out.
