I've reorganized the buttons on the
main screen which I think makes its a bit easier to use. In the next update to the NATO Counters Mod I plan to incorporate this button arrangement. Note that I've removed the button to launch the Classic Random Game. It can be manually started if anyone wishes to use it.
If you have installed the latest version (2.15e) of the NATO Counters Mod (with the NATO version of Lancer's Enhanced MOD Suite), you can get this reorganized screen by replacing the defaultmod.txt file in the root of your ATG installation folder with the one attached to this post.
UPDATE: The 28 Jun 2013 version of this mod has this new defaultmod.txt included.

I downloaded Lancer's June 28 mod and the NATO counters mod, They work great, except that I can't get the NATO mod and the enhanced officer mod to work at the same time. They're both activated by the same button, and only the last one chosen will activate.
Am I doing something wrong?

My problem is that NATO counters won't help unless the sprite weight for determining the counter appearance is altered. You have to be careful how much of certain stuff you put in to the unit. I really don't want my Infantry to be machine guns or Mortars or Bazookas.

Did you install this mod:
Lancer's Enhanced Mod Suite/NATO Counters Mod (
http://www.rtworks.org/GameStuff/EMSnato215e1.atzip) for ATG v2.15e (updated 28 Jun 2013)? It contains the NATO version of the Enhanced Mod Suite.

I got the same "error in unpacking" message as Jafele. I saw your message above and tried it again this evening. Got the same error message.

How does one change the "weight" for icon picture of the individual sfts? I have to put 50 rifle in a unit if I want 10 machine guns, or 10 mortars or bazookas in the unit.

Per Vic: "you can change the sprite weights in the editor under gfx in sftype window."

Vic published an update to fix the
AltGfx map mode game (generic2.at2). I've updated my genericnato2.at2 file to support this fix. This
download only updates these two files and no others.

Mods updated to support v2.15i. See top post for download links.
NOTE: In the future I am considering only supporting my
Solitaire/MultiPlayer NATO Mod as it is much easier to maintain and serves the purpose quite well. If you have any thoughts on that, please leave comments.

I think this would be fine. I tried it yesterday when I got the 2.15i patch and it filled the bill for me.
Thanks for your efforts on this!

Created an updated
set of counters for 'zoom out' mode. See top post for a download link. The primary goal was, when in 'zoom out' mode, that you can easily recognize what type of unit you are looking at: not an easy task with these small counters.

Published a minor refresh of a couple of the NATO counter mod downloads, mostly to incorporate the updated small units counters used in zoomed out mode.

Back in the AT days, I just replaced the original AT icon folder with a folder of my own NATO icons. Did the same with German East/West icons and Russian icons. In random games you get some Russian, German and NATO icons. Quite nice for the variety.
Can I do the same with ATG? Seems that ATG is abnormally complicated when it comes to alternate icons and there doesn’t seem to be spot for concurrent use of German East/West and Russian icons.
What I would like to do is replace the existing ATG unit icon folder/file with icons of my own preference and skip all this “mod” activation.
Is this possible?
Regards, RhinoBones
BTW, There are some of the ATG NATO icons I would like to improve. Is this possible using the PNG application and overwriting the unit in the ATG folder?
