Hi Rick,
No passengers on the tank. Somehow I can't attach the file here (something about a SAV file not being supported when I try to upload it). I've sent you an e-mail too. If you give me your e-mail-adress I will send you the saved file.

Can you put the save file in a zip file and then attach it?

Hi Rick,
You did ask for a saved file about the HMG team that kept firing at a T-34. Here it is. No passengers on the tank though. Somehow I can't attach the file here (something about a SAV file not being supported when I try to upload it), but if you give me your e-mail-adress I will send it to you.
Cheers,
Jacob/Aragorn
if you have some kind of zip program zip it up and attach it. I tried to target a T34-85 with HMG and wasn't able to.
Thanks!
rick

I've tried Winrar and 7zip, doesn't work either, I'm afraid.

Jacko,
thanks, got it. That behavior surprises me. I'm going to play around with that for a while. I didn't think a HMG would target a T34.
Thanks for the report!
Rick

Here is a criticism: There's too much grass in the demo. Way too much! Yes, we all know PCO now has grass (and I think this is a good thing), but you've overdone it, like putting too much salt, pepper, or hot sauce on food. It absolutely kills my computer performance. I remove the grass (backspace key) and PCO is silky smooth. To be honest, I am playing this game on an older laptop.
Grass is pretty well optimized for modern systems with recent graphics cards, but it's definitely an option I would turn off on older systems, along with Shadows. We tried to make sure that PCO would still run on every system that could run Winterstorm and Kharkov, which includes some very old hardware. However, you can't have all the new bells and whistles and smooth performance if you are on the low end of the system specs.

- Erik
Runs perfectly on my system and the grass and undergrowth in the woods add great immersion, IMO. I will be upgrading to PC Ostfront for sure.
Any chance you'll be able to add support for 2560x1600 resolution?

I am dropping from 50 - 60fps with grass off to 20-30 fps with it on, which creates a good amount of scrolling sluggishness. My system is pretty good:
Q9650@3.6Ghz
Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6
G.SKILL 4GB
EVGA 580 GTX SSC
SB X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro
Vista 64-XP
Any settings or tweaks to help? I can go into as much detail about my settings and config as needed. Thanks.

That should not be a problem. We may have to do that for the first post-release update, but we'll get it in there.

Ok, can you start a new thread in the Tech Support sub-forum with your DxDiag and a screenshot of your drivers 3D settings please?

Immersion suggestion:
Keep the ambient SFX loop playing while giving orders.
It seems really sterile/disjointed when you play so much of the game in total silence while looking at the environmental landscape.

Nice game but have some crashes apart this i think that i add to the buy list but need some improvements like see the range when units shoot over enemy and maybe add meters on the grid as an extra option or bases on units to see it better with out use the monster images [:D] but in general looks fine, nice job.

Click the "i" key. That will put icons on your units and you can see them better.
Good Hunting.

Another remark (all in good spirit, I hope it helps to improve the game). My Panther just had it's main gun damaged. I've always hated that when it happened in CMBB. Please don't overdo this feature. It is the first time it happens, so I'm not complaining, just would like to mention it.

Put me on the list for people wanting 2560x1600 resolution.

I alway look at it as I got hit, a turret hit, and as much as I hate losing the gun, I could have lost the whole tank.
The good news is that your opponent doesn't know that the gun isn't working and may retreat in fear.
