Here's the near Tula attacks......I lost 2,000+ people and the Axis losses were miniscule. He lost practically nothing. Fanatical attacks
that didn't go anywhere. Well, at least his supply level will be lower because of it.

Here's the list of aerial shoot-downs. What's the record for one groups # of kills? I find it amazing that any one group can survive
enough furballs to have killed 30+ enemy planes.

Here's all the rail cap. I have left railing out a few items from Moscow while I still can.
I thought maybe I'd have a use for those P-2R recon planes later on during the end game phase.
There are also 11 arms factories between North and West Moscow. Hope you got those out before moving the heavy industry in Moscow proper.

Here's my moves. I pulled back in some places and formed a line in other places and am just screening the Axis forces in others.
Yeah, I noticed an area where I forgot to move some people. I'm going to rectify that situation ASAP.

There were several Armies SW of Orel that I forgot to move. Here's the revised picture after they moved. That's better than it was.

Some of those attacks you are launching are purely piecemeal; you need a good 3x or 4x advantage in men/equipment to make them work.

This game is a real demonstration of "panzer raiding" in action...

Far said via email:
"Larry has pretty much locked off Moscow, so I opt for an encirclement attempt as I am still less than 3M Sov casualties. My thrust to Moscow from AGN bogs down in the Volga Reservoir - can't I dynamite that thing? My Rostov raid may cost me a division. Into the Kuban, but mud may end that, we shall see. "

Here's a close up of the situation in the far north. It seems that both Far and I have decided to fight the war elsewhere.

Here's the situation around Moscow. I think the city itself might be safe but he could still try to encircle it.

Here's the encirclement going south from Tula. I want to see if I can't somehow race to the east and isolate those Axis units, destroy
them and re-form a front line before the supporting Axis infantry can advance eastward in time to save their easternmost comrades.
I have to flee to the east anyway to try to save some of these troops. Maybe I can rail the 8th Army down here from Leningrad to help
contain the damage.

From Kharkov to Stalino I still have nothing but a light screen. It's not going to hold very much longer. We may be looking at the last
of it now.

Here's that situation at Rostov where I've succeeded in isolating an Axis unit but just can't seem to kill it. Maybe this turn. At any rate I've
got to kill it or let it go because his comrades are getting closer and closer and I don't want to get caught up in a drag net. I need a lot
more people here than I have at the moment. Looks like it's high time to rail some people into this corner of the world for a while.

Here's the situation in the far south. He's bulled his way forward and I'm short on sturdy defenders. That cavalry isn't going to contain
anything, best I can hope for now is to delay and rail some people in here. Otherwise, he'll have a free rein to loot & pillage.

Here's the end stage of my moves in this AO. I railed some people in and arranged the C & C better and assigned 2 airbases to this
front. I can't hope that the Axis dudes will just adopt this spot as their winter lines and let it go at that. If I were him I'd proceed on to
N-town and try to cash in on the industry there. I'm going to grab the armament points there and throw them into the Urals somewhere
safe. Maybe after railing all the people I plan to rail I might have enough rail cap. left to move the HI also. One can hope for that.

Speaking of AP's.........here's the AP production cities and as you can see Tula is still listed with 25 functioning factories. If by some
miracle I can dissappear the impediment to railing out the industry from Tula ( the Axis Panzer unit adjacent to Tula ) then it might be
possible to save them. But here's the delima: I need the rail cap to move the troops this turn. I have disasters all over the map from
lack of troops and saving Tula's AP's at the moment seems to take a lessor priority. What do you guys think I should do? I've looked at
the situation at Tula and it doesn't look like it's even possible to move 'em so I think I need to decide to rail troops this turn.

Here's what happened at Rostov. I surrounded the dude, attacked with everybody simultaneously, and barely scratched them. He lost
40 some odd of this dudes and I lost 1,000+ This ain't gonna work. Maybe I should bomb him with my PE-2's first a couple of
times. Wish I had thought of that.

I was able to relieve the encirclement and even isolate some Axis units. Maybe this is the break I need to slow down the Axis advance.
