Here we go again. More March madness.

Turn 39 upgraded to 1.05.45 Beta

The Panzers are on the move they appear to be advancing toward Vyshny Volochek but that may be a feint in order to draw forces into that area will have to wait & see what the game plan is

In the Lenningrad area the Panzers are also moving not sure what the German plan is here. It may be to re-attempt to Isolate Lenningrad or it may be a drive to link with German forces advancing from the south towards Vyshny Volochek only time will tell

Down by Vornezh German landsers have left their fort line & advanced into contact with my front line leaving their flank exposed I moved a couple of tank & infantry brigades into the gap that was created but unfortunately I did not have enough movement points to close the pocket.

Finally in the Crimea I have pulled back into my fort line & am waiting to see what he will do in this area

All other sectors remain quiet at the moment however there are 2 Panzer Armees that are unacounted for which is a worry It may be that the
hammer may fall in the Rostov sector (I think that the capture of Rostov splits Armee Gruppe Sud into two) but recon in this area has failed to find any tank units

Just downloaded the official 1.05.45 patch so will be using that version for turn 40

Turn 40 Posistion before Soviet moves

In the North 4th Panzer Armee? continues to push forward. It seems more likely that a link up with 2nd & 3rd Panzer Armees? is planned for the area including Vyshny Volochek. I am suprised that he is continuing with this as there is only one turn of snow left before we get at least 4 weeks of mud & his units appear to be low on fuel

Heavy Concentrations of armour have been engaged to the north of Rezhev possibly 2 Panzer Armees. It seems to be the Southern Arm of a pincer move toward Vyshny Volochek but it could just as easily turn toward Kalinin & Moscow

There is at least 1 Panzer Armee Posibly 2 refitting somewhere but recon has not found them. I supose it is possible that they have returned to Germany to wait out winter.

Still looking for the remaining Panzer Divisions

A small victory I was able to rout a german infantry division here's hoping that it will be the first of many

Due to the high CV values of the German Armour north of Rzhev it was decided to abandon the defensive line & shorten the front. Although it seems that the Panzers are low on fuel they may of had enough points to pocket the Soviet 30th Army

Continued with some local counter attacks west of Voronezh but I am pretty much being forced to go over to the defensive as I don't want to weaken my Front Line units any more than necessary

Just downloaded the new beta patch will update for turn 41. Glad to see that they are giving some attention to the Air War
