Hmmm... maybe not so different after all. It just FEELS different for some reason. Can't put my finger on it... Could just be my imagination plus that fact that it hasn't crashed yet

Just bought APOS and I am learning it, is it possible to mount tanks with infantry? Some screenshots show infantry on tanks but if I select an infantry squad near a tank E key does not work and the Mount button is greyed out...?

Yes! And it works great!
1. Select an infantry squad.
2. Hold down CTRL key (STRG?)
3. Now select a tank.
4. Click the MOUNT button and wait a few seconds.
Infantry will mount the tank.
To dismount, select the tank (or select the squad in the OOB) and click DISMOUNT.

You can't mount infantry to the tanks while in the deploy phase. Only when combat already started. While deploy you can mount or dismount only squads which have an APC inside.

You can't mount infantry to the tanks while in the deploy phase. Only when combat already started. While deploy you can mount or dismount only squads which have an APC inside.
However, you can order them to Mount during the Initial Orders Phase, before combat starts. As soon as you enter the combat phase, they will start to mount up.
