Well i think your half way there, if you can get the may patch installed i believe everything will run. My game wouldnt start after 580 until i got the patch installed.

could you show some screens of what your doing to install may patch.

double clicking the update file in the apos folder wouldnt open it?

I'm out of ideas to help you.The hardest part for me was getting the 5.80 engine to run in the game,after that all the updating features ran smoothly for me.

I'm big on visuals, if this is what your doing and it aint working i'm out of idea's also. After hitting open the clock should start, showing it is installing, after that it's just save and play.the may patch desc.addpack is where ever you unzipped it too.

What do district updates do?I added dlc already.

District updates are map improvements and different weather effect for the campaign scenarios.

I was being thrown off,when I went to install May patch it was listed as being called CORE,kept looking for file called may patch

Every add on and update will have its own CORE file with its desc addpack.Thats why I give every add on and update its own seperate folder in the APOS file on my desk top to avoid confusion.

I also did make seperate folder,but when I opened it changed and was called core

Right,every DLC and patch will have its own Core folder in them when you open them.This is the folder where the desc addpack files for that particular addition are stored.
