Can you use the scenario editor to play only in Italy for the war?

You might try changing the game length of the Avalanche scenario in the BTR43 data but the scoring is hardwired in the code so it would be impossible for the Axis to win at some point.

Test it by letting it run Computer vs Computer and see what happens.

Very Interesting.

The altitude graph is based on data in about column 50, headings high1 to high14, my guess is they are 3000ft bands.

SWAG to allocate a manouvre rating by band.

Some interesting loadouts, odd things which need explaining, The Typhoon is armed with 8 x 60lb rockets, but there are 2 types. The weapon loaded is basically a bomb, the other unused weapon coded as a Rocket Projectile has a range which might allow a more survivable attack?

Might have a busy weekend!
Here are the magic performance/altitude band intervals from the code (in thousands of feet). Not exactly linear.

The annual request for a link to the editor. ;)

If anyone could either pass along an updated link to the editor, or pass it along via e-mail, that'd be awesome. I'd really like to dig through the game's data. Thanks in advance. :)

What ever you do, DO NOT EXPORT any of the existing data shown in the editor. You will well and truly screw up your game. ALWAYS import game data first, make the changes you wish and then export that back. Also the savegame feature is disabled, so don't even try.

PS Make back up copies of your data files before proceeding, just in case you do something that does well and truly screw up your game.

I do have two questions

1. How can I maintain the normal and reduced payload in the editor.

2. Is there an indicator to diffentiate center line and front/wingmounted guns. Or do I need to add new devices to the database for different mountings.

Thanks,
Wijter

Another question please, I've spend many hours on the editor, I find it amazing to make my game unique, I used it only a couple of months ago without problem, suddenly I'm getting an error message rom visual basis as soon as I open excel, only on the editor "compile error" "the code for this project must be updated for use on 64 bit systems. please review and update declare statements and then mark them with the Ptrsafe attribute."
Any one any ide how I review the declare statements? I can't find any reference to them in any help pages or online?

With the editor, you could change the btr43 "Avalanche" game length from 60 days to whatever, but the victory conditions are hardwired in the code so it would be a guaranteed allied win. Maybe for a future patch we could do a "long" campaign for Avalanche.
