I am Dutch and living in Belgium.
And I made the step! I bought it! The comment in one of the reviews that said: "you are not buying a game but a subscription to something continuously under development" is what did it for me - these are things you can play for years.
I also have Matrix' Command Ops - same goes for that really. Don't always hit it, but when I do - it's 0600 before you know it.
