And let the carnage begin. Germany dow's Poland. The US gets one entry chit. Japan and Italy take a combined. Japan picks up 4 land units from the home islands and heads out to sea. The Italians transport pick up the mech unit and heads to N. Africa. German bombers pour over the polish border, with the best result being on warsaw.

Allied first impulse begins with the CW and the French declaring war on Germany. The US loses an entry chit. Germany calls out the reserves.

the suspense in this one right now is killing me

The French launch a port attack on Stettin, where the entire german fleet is swinging at anchor. The result is 2 BB's disorganized.

Allied impulse continues with the CW moving ships out to escort convoys. The BEF is sitting in the channel waiting to disembark, and I realized that the Carriers in Gibraltar dont have any planes on them lol. Here is the French bringing a unit back to France.

The CW strat bomb Essen, but come up empty, USSR claim the Polish Borderlands and the US loses an entry chit, and Nimitz arrives at Pearl Harbor to assume there.

Second Axis impulse the weather is clear everywhere. Germany dow's Denmark, this irritates the US and they get an entry chit.

Germany goes in for a strategic bombing run on Metz. They escort with one fighter. The French send up a fighter to contest. The result is the bomber is clared thru. The french fighter is aborted. But the roll was a 2 so no effect.

Meanwhile in China, the Japanese launch a ground strike with artillery.

After softening up Chengchow with artillery, the japanese launch the assault. Although they take the city, the result is less than favorable.

On the allied second impulse the BEF lands in France.

On the Axis 3rd impulse the weather goes in the toilet. lol.

Attacks in the rain can be dicey, but not when you roll a 19.

Sharing your play has been really informative for me. I am doing my own solo play. It is nice to see how you manage things. Your explanations are really clear.

And the turn ended on the allied turn on a one, before Denmark or Poland could be conquered. Not a good start for Germany.
