In Kentucky, despite we had been trashed and forced to retreat, we had threatened Marquo big time with a revenge
And that's exactly what we did last turn (no update). We came back and trashed the Confederate victors, who were forced to retreat. Now Bowling Green aka Kentucky is in our hands. A depot will be built here with a transport ship unit. And oh, Nashville is indeed on our radar!
Here I have the Kentucky Department Army with one Corps (Gilbert's). I have brought another 2-star boss (Erasmus Keyes) to create a second corps for this army (this should allow me to maneuver) but I am not allowed (as per the previous post) [&:]

And the Mississippi. Some changes.
When I had moved Pope to Humboldt I was in fact thinking about Island 10 (a stalemate there). I was outflanking the enemy that is. I assumed he should have to react. And so he did. The thick enemy stack left Island 10 and moved to Humboldt, there was a huge battle which involved the whole Rosecrans's Army (Army stack + Grant's and Pope's Corps). I won it, but just light losses on both sides (but Pope's Corps was damaged), nothing conclusive.
The other side of the coin is that when I advanced to Humboldt I was letting Fort Henry not guarded (Island 10 was the real target). Marquo recaptured it.
Now Grant will be assaulting the insolent garrison of Island 10, and after that, we should be on the move again. I mean the whole army: Rosecrans, Grant and Pope.
The left flank is more or less covered now: Bowling Green, operations in Kentucky. We will see.
Oh, and Halleck is finally on the move too in the western shore of the Mississippi.

Potomac Front.
Are we closing the ring? We hope so! [8D]
Now the Confederacy has only a narrow corridor left to send supplies to Manassas: Culpeper. I should be moving some hordes to this spot. Let's see if -somehow- I manage to terrorize the enemy [:D]
The problem is the force in the gap is not a corps (I can't create it [&:]). So no bonus etc etc. This horde has been heavily reinforced and there's more to come in fact. Let's see if they manage to kick us out of here.

In Kentucky we are attacking! Nelson's mini horde captured Clarksville and Gilbert's Corps assaulted an enemy stack in Gallatin. We almost outnumbered them 2:1 but we were trashed. We're staying the same. This goes without saying [8D]

Mississippi.
Island 10 fell and we captured some guns. The main enemy stack is besieging Humboldt. I'm thinking about a big mega battle.
BUT,
to get there Grant will need 12 days. Rosecrans 13 days. Therefore in theory they could not help each other. SO I am thinking about sending both bosses, independently that is.
As I see it, there's a lot to win. In any case, I don't want to stay inactive.
