Here's the front lines in T5. Local German counterattacks have left my lines looking ragged. I'm being forced backward by the German
Panzers. Nothing can stand up to them. It's looking like the advance is stalled and going nowhere fast.

This is the front lines in T6. I've recovered the front lines somewhat but the German counterattacks drain the readiness of the defending
units so quickly that I'm constantly needing to swap out the units on the front lines. The supply level COULD be a bit higher, but noooo.
I'm listening to a YouTube video about the life of the cell and how viri and cells are locked in combat and have been since there have
been viri and cells. Like 4B+ years. I thought you needed to know.

I failed to imagine why we shouldn't end Goodwood and start Spring. So I selected the theater option for that.

Here's T7 and the cease fire came in the nick of time because I was being forced backward by the German Panzers. Spring will bring
more tanks and I need those right now.

I'm putting all the planes on INT missions because they still fly during the German turn. So there's a boat-load of INT going on when
the Germans move a unit. Every little bit helps.

Here's the front lines in T9. I've got a skelaton staff on the front and almost everybody else is up in the high supply areas getting refit.
I've very carefully calculated the cease fire to end on T16 so there's a couple of turns of cease fire left. I'm hoping everybody will be
ready for combat by then.

Here's the supply situation in T12: As you can see the supply level is way too low for sustained combat at the middle bottom of the
front. I may have to pull back north a bit.

OK. It's T16 and the cease fire is over and the war is back on. I'm going to try to concentrate on getting hex 14,14 so that the
Bailey's Bridging unit can start repairing the bridges over the river and increase the supply levels.

Here's the front lines in T18. I've repaired the one bridge that supplies the east side of the river. That should raise the
supply level considerably. I need that to happen.

T20's front lines. Not much has changed since turn 16 when the cease fire ceased. I'm shuttling units back and forth when they run
low on supply and after they get about 65% supply I run them back to the front. It's a never-ending experience.

Here's the supply situation in T20. It's much much better than it was. Maybe I can win the war now.

Here's the front lines in T22. Going nowhere fast. Those German Panzers are the pits.

T25's front lines. I've being forced backward by the Germans. It's looking grim.

And here you go......the Germans win. This scenario isn't much fun after Operation Spring kicks in. Lots of swapping of hexes back and
forth for about 28 turns. Needs something a little extra to make it fun. I'll post the losses next.

I didn't see anything that time that made me want to change anything. I haven't played it in a couple years so I thought I'd have a run at it to see how it goes. I was also trying to think of what is causing the difficulty in your runs. I agree its not easy. Maybe you should be a little more aggressive. You certainly aren't getting the tank losses that you should. 400-500 was historical, and back when I was playtesting this I was getting close to 400 at a minimum. And maybe you're artillery management isn't quite what it should be. I'm not sure because you haven't really said anything about it. I mentioned it in the Goodwood Thread, but there are different ways you can use artillery, it all depends on what you are comfortable with. I do nothing with the artillery on the first turn (about 1/3 of them are on Tactical, the rest are on Mobile). At the beginning of each turn I switch the ones that are on Tactical to Mobile so they rest, and turn about 1/3 of the rest onto Tactical. This way you always have some strong tubes ready to go.
Here's what I just did, at the start of turn 4 before any moves.
