Hey Gorn man,

If you haven't ever given them a read I believe you would enjoy Harry Harrison's novel series:

West of Eden
Winter in Eden
Return to Eden

I have and have read the first two and can recommend them as enjoyable "alternate history" sci fi.

I've been meaning to acquire the last one and have never gotten around to doing so.

The premise is that the dinos never died out and an intelligent cold blooded species was already dominant as the mammals, and humans in particular, started coming of age.

Though there is a lot of evidence now that dinosaurs were warm blooded and evolved into birds. A recent fossil find shows evidence that dinosaurs actually all had feathers like birds. T-rex is a bit harder to take seriously when colored like a tropical bird.

Chemkids map has an update that includes borders - he did a great job.

Kris seems to have slipped into another dimension. If he returns to mine we'll have a game. Meanwhile I have started another game with a gentleman from Slovakia. I'm using the same first turn and strategy. He has done his first turn and is now in possession of the battle replay. I will shortly begin a new AAR to cover that game. I can now try and get Tracker working and if I have trouble I'll report it on this thread pleading for suggestions.
