Had air weather turned off
Situation is bad in the air

First thing I do in my little turn checklist is look at the weather. Before I even study detail of what happened last turn!:)

OK, I'm new to this game, but that looks very perilous for the Germans, doesn't it? I don't see a ton of units between the Allies and Tuscany, and there are large formations still in the TOE. There is a single rail line down the East Coast of Italy supporting an entire Army Group.

Tough spot, as the Germans you hate to be pulling all the way back to the Gothic Line right now, but the alternative is fighting it out in the open terrain of Tuscany......

Canadians on Spoon before turn 22.[:@] Canadians on turn 22.[&o] I'm glad your still on the beaches, and damn proud of those US troops. This is me celebrating your great victory!

Just a hint. If you drop a crap ton of bombs in a small area at the choke point on the Eastern Coast line, you'll starve anyone south of that. Someone mentioned it was probably supplying an army down there and that's his biggest weak spot. Just keep doing small attacks to force him to use supply, and destroy the ports behind him. Don't do big area bombings, just set 15th AF to strike Taranto on day 1 and 2, Brindisi on day 3 and 4, and so on and so forth. You get a lot more accomplished when you do strategic bombing at 0 area. You could have those ports gone from Rome and below in a month.

I know, I couldn't just congratulate you, I had to put my two cents in again lol. Carrot n Stick.

If you go 4 more Hexes north, you unlock 40CV worth of Garisson reeiforcements (atleast 40, as that is the minumum for north Italy, and they also bring Pizza).
But not unlocking them would be kind of gamey wouldn't it?

New Air Plan in effect.

In the med I am trying to deal with these evacuating germans, I was sure they had decided to stick around and fight.

I also decided to attack along the green arrow to attempt to cut off all of the german army south. If I had another air HQ and another 1k bombers and supplied airbases to fly them from I would almost be able to do everything I want.
The weather system in this game is really cool btw.

German interdiction kicking my butt in the TOE.

Interdiction on the Toe slows my advance to a crawl.

I had originally wanted to keep pushing north and grab another port but with AWG starting to withdraw from the south I figured I needed to try to cut them off now.
No VP's for german casualties but maybe I can cause some replacement issues for him if I catch anything.

In the end I come up 3 hexes short of making the cut off.

I'm sure there will be a horde in the way after AWG gets done with his turn hehe.

I know your flying those valiant tankers supplies, right? Plus if you look, most of his horde seems to be south of where your cutting the peninsula at. Don't waste your interdiction on his troops down south, smear that three hex area your cutting off with interdiction and railway. I'd be just a tad worried if I were him.[8D]

Have to plot interdiction before you move hehe.

Also flying lots of supplies but range is becoming an issue

That's one of the best AAR I have ever seen. Kudos to you.
Any good using British bombers by day?
I read somewhere in this forum that they are like vampires: exposed and ineffective at daylight, but I didn't try myself.

Baelfin sets a new standard with his AAR screenshots. They look better than most book illustrations.
