Here's the front lines from Gomel down to Odessa and as you can see the territories
are being cleared out and I can start sending divisions to the east side of Kiev to
help push the Soviets south on that side of the river.

Here's the northern front lines right now. I'm really short of people for what is
going on but so far it's working. None of my ships has the range to effect anything.
The Soviet BB's have been sailing north and then back south and I need to get the
Ju-87's up here to sink them. I've got three Panzer divisions helping out up here
and the going is STILL slow. The supply levels are getting better because the rails
are closer. I still don't think I can get Leningrad before Winter descends.

I forced the crossing at Kherson and now troops are streaming though there into the
Crimea. I've reached the first bottleneck and I'm afraid it's already manned and
ready for us. They are probably dug in and fortified. D'oh. I've got the 11th
Army headed this way because they are going to help take down Sevastopol.

In the Gomel area I've discovered that I've left a wide swath of the front line wide
open. I've got an element of the scout division way out front as an early warning
kind of screen thing and he's in danger of getting trapped behing enemy lines but he's
doing a fabulous job of cutting the Soviet LOC's. I'd best retrieve him before he
gets in trouble. Meanwhile, I've started moving the divisions in the south territories
to this area right here but it's going to take several turns to arrive. The rails don't
connect unfortunately so they will have to march most of the way.

I found a hole in the Soviet lines and drove some people through it and spreaad out and
expanded the hole into a bulge. Too bad I don't have a dozen divisions to thrust through
that hole to follow up.

Here's a quick peek at some of the losses right now. Light so far. That's a good thing.

Here's the northern front lines right now. I've just finished mopping up at the
bottleneck and I'm ready to press to the east and to the city of Leningrad. There's
going to be a lot of Soviet units to wade through first, some of them aren't visible
in this image. The 6th Panzer is slowly making it's way from Pskov to Leningrad and
has gotten bogged down in a fight about halfway there. I'm optimistic that the fight
will be over soon and the advance can continue.

Here's the Bryansk area right now. I'm struggling to get free of all the little
battles and send somebody over to the city to grab it. I've sent a couple of the
Panzer divisions and we can see in the image that they are busy trying to kill
Soviet units, one at a time.

Here's what's going on at the Crimea bottlenecks. I've forced an opening but it's
not wide enough for passage yet. Also, I'm clearing out the territories leading to
the south region and I've changed my mind about all those troops clearing the territories
between the rivers. I think instead of marching them all the way to the east side of
Kiev I'll just use them here in the south and work my way north with them to kill all
the Soviet units up against the river.

Here's the Leningrad area right now. I sank all the Soviet ships with my Stuka's
( lost a lot of Stuka's ) and so I've driven my ships in close to help out with
the support tasks for which they have the range for.
I'm still pushing to get to the city and the Soviets aren't cooperating. The supply
level is decent and operations are ongoing at this time.

I've found a section of the front lines where there doesn't appear to be very many
Soviet units unless they are there but they aren't visible. I really need to move
some units into that area and see if it really is wide open like I surmise.

This is Smolensk right now. I'm struggling to get into the city and grab that forward
supply point. It would come in really handy as the supply levels are low and that is
a major hinderance to combat operations. I'm having to "save up" enough supply to move
or shoot. It's slowing things down. The rails are on their way in this direction, it's
just that they don't repair rail very fast.
EDIT: I'll have to retract that last paragraph. I took a look at the supply levels
again for this area and they seem okie dokie near Smolensk. I guess I'm thinking of an
area south of here where there's no close railhead. North of Gomel about 5 hexes. That
would be on the east side of Kiev where I need the supply to be able to move SE and
clear out a lot of the Soviet industry to make it a longer game.

Okie dokie, I'm adjacent to the rivers so the territories between the rivers has been
cleared and the only thing left is mop up. I've got a few Soviet units left to
surround and kill and then I can tackle the river crossings at Z-town and D-town to
get into the Soviet backfield and ccntinue the advance.

I've been sticking to the roads and rails mostly and I've isolated an area that is
mostly forest and I'm assuming there's nothing in there but just to make sure I'd
best drive a recon unit through there. Or some other fast mover.
