At the battle for Tsiaotso, Imperial forces forced Chinese troops into a ragged retreat across the river to Loyang. Japanese ground units at Chengchow are planning to drive forward to Loyang to "keep up the skeer."

Sumatra
Air operations at Palembang are on hold for a day or three as I build up my fighter groups and add more experienced pilots.

Just below Toboali, several BG on naval attack were able to find enemy tankers fleeing Palembang with full holds of oil. I suppose the shorelines of southern Sumatra and Northern Java will be black with oil in the near future…

Philippines
San Fernando was liberated and the 23rd Division is now moving (awful slowly) for Boyombong in pursuit of the fleeing enemy troops that were routed.

Borneo
That enemy TF that I was interested in? It showed up at Brunei on April 9th. 3 enemy DD and a CL. I had the DD Kawakaze. The Kawakaze, in a series of night-time engagements, chased those four enemy ships out of Brunei while sustaining minor damage. All I can say is wow! That was impressive!

• I'm sending the 12th RGC Ind. Bde to Chengchow.
• I'm sending the 9th RGC Route Brigade to Nanking.
• I'm sending the 1st RGC Div. to Wusih.
• I've 10 divisions plus support troops at Chengchow that are following the 6th Division to Loyang. The 13th Army Corps @ Tsiaotso is lending planning points to the assault of Loyang.
• I've got another four divisions @ Tsiaotso that are moving to 87,41 to bolster my units that are currently defending that hex from 11 enemy units, most of which are Corps.
• @ Kweisui I moved air support up; the 69th JAAF AF Bn, is unpacking.

Economy
• I did a not-bright thing and ran out of fuel at Sapporo, which is costing me HI production. I've got tankers in route to Sapporo.

Philippines
• I bought out the 61st Division in Japan and it is moving to Tokyo so I can load it for transport to the PI.
• The 23rd division is @ San Fernando and moving slower than cold syrup as it creeps up on Bayombong. Currently 32/46m.
• The 11th Garrison Unit @ Vigan is MOVing to Subic Bay. The 65th Naval Guard Unit @ Lingayen is Moving towards Subic Bay also.

Sumatra
• The 23rd Division is unloading @ Padang.
• I'm sweeping Palembang from Singapore.
