Actually there is a version 103 in the works, but, I got sick, and being sick and coding is not a good combination, if you want good results.

So reboot? Sorry Astro, swamped with work and now have tax returns on the docket... won't be able to do my round today.

Re-botting depends what everyelse wants to do. Looks like new versions are coming out. Is everbody in consensus to keep going with the game as is? Take your time with turn. I know how real life interferes with important things like gaming.

Yeah, I tried that and found out that it is not a good idea to code while sick. It could have cost a lot more than it did. Get Well soon if you are not already well. In the meantime I got to go in for an Upper GI Endoscopy. And my new oxygen therapy devices will arrive soon. Oh, well, the joys of getting old.

I was sick all during the Holidays, I went to the doctor and landed in the ER as I got diagnosed with a heart condition. I have to go in the 11th for a bunch of tests. I can relate. Today I woke up with a sore throat.

I see Japan's second turn in Dropbox but don't know if we are starting over with a new version. Whoever has new version could load it into the Dropbox.

The latest version (102) is in the scenario bank, and requires some new graphics (the officer pics) to function. Hence you need all of it, for it to work. I suggest downloading the 45mb file from there...

Would you mind writing what the changes or updates for version 102? I am just wanting to know before I begin Japan's turn.

The only real difference from 101b to 102 is the addition of 74 new generals, spread out across 7 regimes (China got none) and 1938 to 1945. This may sound like a small addition, but it's not. 74 bio's for each general and research into their abilities, is something that is very time consuming. Not to mention finding a picture of each. I am not even sure how I managed!

For Japan this means that they in 1938 have four more generals available (Ishiwara, Kanin, Araki and Ueda) all located in the officer pool. In 1939 they get one additional general compared to earlier, as they do in 1940, 1941 and 1942. So that is 8 extra.

In general (hey a pun) the new generals will have worse stats than the old ones, but as they are better than no generals at all, I think it is pretty fair.

Thank you for writing what is in the update. A big thank you for all the hard work you have done with this game. It is one of the best WWII games I have ever played and I have played many. Thank you again.
