Paratroopers land on Cyprus but to their horror fail to force the surrender of the garrison.

The supply situation in India is not good. Looks like we need to bring in air power to take Calcutta. At least the fleet is no longer needed and can patrol home waters.

5 June 1942

Germany invades Greece, about the only neutral country left in Europe (it was 67% Allied leaning). It should fall next month.

The weather clears and we go on the offensive again. Unfortunately our air units are not much good vs massive Allied air cover.

Japan takes Sian. Kunming should fall soon. Progress in India is slow but moving. No sign of any US units in the Pacific yet.

3 July 1942

Japan upgrades the air defense of its fleet and makes some progress in eastern India. The naval landings in southern India are going nowhere, HQs there get a max of 5 supply.

Greece surrenders. Germany makes some minor progress on the Moscow front.

31 July 1942

Crisis in India as Mutagushis HQ is eliminated by a British tank unit. India may have been too optimistic. Calcutta and/or Bombay would have to be taken in the initial assault.

Italy declares war on Saudi Arabia. The garrison on Cyprus finally surrenders.

Italy has also scraped together enough supplies to start an assault on Khartoum.

Level 3 fighters allows Germany to go on the offensive on the Moscow front. Resistance is heavy and the presence of major Soviet and Allied units could potentially allow a counter-attack. No sign of Allied bombers yet.

Reinforcements from the Caucasus and Greece start to arrive.

28 August 1942

Japan loses an army in India to British Armor. We don't really have a counter, except perhaps air-power.

The situation now hangs in the balance.

At least things are going well in China with minimal effort. We may soon need some of these elite troops for India or home defense.

Japanese forces also take an empty Wake Island. No US forces anywhere to be seen.

As Italy advances on Saudi Arabia, the Gibraltar garrison sneaks into Cyprus! We need to close the gap and take "the rock"!

Germany loses its patience and declares war on Spain. Only Portugal and Switzerland remain as neutrals in Europe.

As summer fades we keep the pressure up in Russia.

25 September 1942

Italy takes Riyadh while the UK takes Nepal. Medina still holds out.

The situation in India is getting worse. Reinforcements and air units are on the way.

In Europe, Spain surrenders and Germany makes a push to cut the east-west Soviet railroad. Not quite there yet. (forgot to take screenshot)

23 October 1942

The Allies abandon Khartoum.

Germany finally breaks the east-west railroad.

Japan takes an ungarrisoned Midway. The situation in India is not improving.
