right.

we should not do this trip in the hollidays time...

i have some more ideas for places to visit:

the hürtgenwald
fort eben emael
fort battice
and waterloo !

Syncronization question; when is "holidays" for you? Our holiday weeks are usually July, but I know it's August for many Euros, right? (did you see this weekend's jams in France? 650 km!!! :eek: )

I suggest either early June or early September, if not these sites are open all year?

Frank, it'd be nice to see the Hürtgenwald and Eben Emael. :) Only problem in Hürtgen would be us afraid of going anywhere in fear of stepping on Wild Bill's mines!! :D :D

Most Dutch holidays start of in July as well as far as I know , run to mid august...If we are talking school vacations...and most adults synchronise with their kids for some odd reason :confused: :D

yes, outside holliday time would be good.

you can find in the hurtgenwald indeed some old ammo and even skulls,bones etc... really no good feeling to walk on a kind of graveyard. AFAIR the hurtgenbattles were one of the bloodiest in the west...
