My pleasure, Dimitris!
Here's another one for you. I was just testing it in Baloogan's Falklands 1982 community scenario - all seems fine. I think you might find this one particularly nice as the poly-count is quite low (for what it is).
HMS Hermes / INS Viraat centaur-class
Cheers and have a nice weekend!

Lockheed P-2 Neptune (recommended for Falklands 1982 scenarios).
Note:
Associations_CWDB.xls and
Associations_DB3000.xls files included since the amount of editing is big (many Cold War P-2 variants and export versions - yes, including the CIA version). Also, I noticed there was an incorrect entry for the Boeing 747 model - fixed. Also includes database entries for HMS Hermes and Victor tanker for Falklands 1982 scenarios.

Thanks for the models!
Unfortunately the revised association files are not very "usable" for us as-is, because they conflict with the updates we have been doing on them from our end, and our versions are the "authoritative" ones. (And AFAIK it's not very easy to compare Excel sheets)
A more useful way to convey those changes may be to just list the suitable DB entries for each new mesh, for example:
FixedWing.P-2.obj:
CWDB #123 - P-2A (USN), 1950s
CWDB #456 - P-2C (Argentina), 1960-1979
DB3000 #789 - P-2F (ROK), 1990-2012
This would make it much easier for us to update the "master" records.
Thanks again.

^My pleasure sir! Yes, I will do exactly this in future and I hope we can buy the official Falklands DLC soon?
Best wishes,
Claivy

Hello !
For people looking for tools to add new models (or even create them from start to end), you can use SketchUp, but, I think it's better to use Blender. Because of some usefull modifier and export option that fit well for Tacview models.
Blender may be a bit overwhelming at first sight, but the latest release really made it more friendly.
You can download it here on
https://www.blender.org/
You can also find some really nice video tutorial on
CG Cookie youtube channel.
After being more confident with Blender, you will want to export your model. But as Al said, size matter.
So, before, you can add a modifier "Decimate". This one will highly reduce the number of poly.
For example, we have here a model with lot of faces :
You can add the modifier :
And then, change it's ratio value to reduce the number of faces :
You'll see in realtime the impact on the mesh.
After that, you'll have to export to OBJ file :
Use those export option (really important !!) :
And there you go !
Another point to check, is the orientation of the mesh :
Enjoy
Feel free to ask if you have any question or problem with Blender.
does this mean I can make my 3d models look more realistic then the blue and red colors on tacview? like i want all my models to be steel grey like your missile photo?

Spruance Class & OH Perry models available for Tacview if anybody requires them...

The Spruance will also work for the Kidd class.
The OH Perry will work for a number of countries that operated variants of this class
Update Associations files for DB3000 and CWDB as required.

..... now it's time to actually go play some CMO!

do you have more models like so I don't have to create my own or can I use any 3d model from any game for my own personal use? I kinda want to make 3d models for all the stock ones to add color
