Jesus was entertaining a crowd in the town square answering questions and so on when some religious leaders brought before him a woman who was allegedly caught in the act of adultery and asked Jesus if they should stone her like the scriptures call for. If he says yeah, go ahead and stone her he would be ignoring his message of forgiveness and love and if he says don't stone her he would be negating the law of Moses. So what should he say? He squatted down and started writing in the dirt with his finger and after a short minute he stood up and said: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." And then he squatted down and continued writing in the dirt. The people in the crowd were struck in their conscience that they weren't without sin and one by one they peeled off and walked away. All of a sudden a rock sailed out of the smaller crowd that was left and it struck the adulterous young woman in the forehead and knocked her down. A nasty bruise was forming and her forehead was bleeding. Jesus stood up and said" "Sometimes you really tick me off Mom."

Does anyone ever ask "Why don't you stone the adulterous man too?"

I was watching the Peter Jackson King Kong today and while watching the scene where the Navy planes attack King Kong (complete with the markings of VF-1B, which was a nice touch), I realized that to get authorization to use them against King Kong, someone actually had to go to the Secretary of the Navy and tell him that there was a giant ape rampaging through downtown Manhattan and that someone wanted the Navy to send in planes to kill it. Then they had to go to the White House, see President Hoover, and ask him to order the Navy to use planes to kill a giant ape that had rampaged through New York City and climbed to the top of the Empire State Building.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall during those two conversations!

I don't know why, but when I watch King Kong the first thought that enters my head is not images of the Secretary of the Navy and the US President, undertaking senior level discussions within the corridors of power... my mind is elsewhere. I don't know why, I just can't put my finger on it...

Faith-filled man Darrell Meads has a powerful anointing.

On Friday, he decided to showcase that anointing in an INCREDIBLE way.

Meads made up his mind to stand in the middle of some train tracks as an unstoppable freight train came barreling toward him, so he could declare VICTORY over it in the name of Jesus, rebuking the locomotive and causing it to come to a sudden and complete stop, shocking everyone and proving that he is indeed a chosen vessel of the Lord, able to perform supernatural feats at will.

Guess what—Meads stood in the middle of those tracks, just like he said he would. And with a powerful voice, he declared victory over that train. You will NEVER guess what happened next…

He died, unfortunately.
