T71 2/22/42 In the central front is is like Bagration. His line has been destroyed. As shown, the lead Soviet tank unit is only 8 hexes from Minsk. However, in the north and south the Axis is either pulling back or can pull back.

T71 2/22/42 The big picture shows the north and south pulling back. The lines may be set up west of Minsk by the end of the mud turns.

T72 2/25/42 This shows a portion of the northern front. The retreating Axis troops will have difficulty escaping the Soviet embrace.

T72 2/25/42 Minsk is now only 4 hexes from the nearest Soviet tank unit. Should the Axis fight and try to hold Minsk?

T72 2/25/42 This shows the far south front. Will the Axis troops be able to retreat in time to avoid the envelopment just to the north of their line?

T73 3/1/42 The northern front shows the same Germans trying to move west. Several units get caught each turn trying to withdraw.

T73 3/1/42 The Minsk front shows how the Germans declared Minsk an open city. The Russian tank units drove through the city center and kept going, now 4 hexes west of Minsk.

T73 3/1/42 Here we see that the Germans have left their Balkan Allies to their own ideas on how to retreat. Note some are cut off that are not minimal rear guard units.

T75 3/8/42 This view shows the current state of Minsk. It is now the Soviet railhead for the advance into Poland and beyond.

T75 3/8/42 This screen shows another railhead for the liberation of Lithuania. The Soviet winter offensive boost ends soon. Then the German line will probably stand firm.

T79 2/22/42 Here is the current Riga Front. No defense here, just blown bridges and rear guards. This is the last turn before the mud which starts on turn 80. The offensive will continue but will be much slower.

T79 3/22/42 Here is the Lithuania Front. Again no organized defense. Note the railhead which will fuel the action in the north along the Baltic.

T79 3/22/42 Here is the Bialystok Front. Note the railhead which will fuel the final offensives toward Warsaw, the Oder and finally Berlin. Everything south of the Pripyat Marshes is below minimums in supply and must stop their advance. The Germans must stop the Red Army soon in front of Berlin or the South of Russia will not need any further activity. All the rail repair units are north of the Pripyat.

Hi Fogger

We ran into a bug problem that might fix itself. I used a Soviet Offensive Chet #1 the turn before mud which functioned normally, However, when mud came the Soviet shock stayed very elevated at 120 instead of 65 for all mud turns. We stopped any attacks or offensive action to see if shock returns to normal when the mud ends. We did minimal activity and sent the files back and forth through the mud turns. The first non mud turn is on the next turn. If it returns to normal we will continue, if it does not then the scenario must end here on turn 92. I thought we would find out before another posting since nothing has moved. I should get the results from Willie tomorrow.
