Again, just running AS and two GS in key areas. I am avoiding handing Germans free air kills on bombers (level bombers are not on the map) and guard my IL2's with a minimum of 2 fighters groups per IL2 group (Polka, or whatever you call it)

I pretty much just move units around. I am not sitting here figuring out the best attack units, move into position, then have a planned move to hex after attack in 1941 like I normally would. That is what takes up the majority of my time normally. See WITE2 is all about attacking but I am conceding that in 1941 for the Soviets and going for speed turns and not leave myself out of place units on the map from "F'd" up attacks I did not think through. I don't like to play my games like this but I can..... I just attack to the East with the Soviets. I always win those battles

I am happy with the outcome of the air war so far.

This is ALL of my fighters and Tac bombers on the map turn 5. Yes I have recon and transport planes on the map if I need them but I won't fly them. I am saving them up. I won't even drop supply to deck out units the turn they arrive. Is it the right thing to do? No. But I am playing that way There will be a time I switch over to predator mode, but the time is not now. I will continue to play as the prey (not like I have a choice anyway)

Pretty straight forward with nothing but AS and no GS this turn. I am semi preserving (although I get ballsy in later turns) my fighter planes to build up, if the Soviets can ever do such a thing. The Soviets can run dry on Fighters, but again my premise is to get kills for my fighters while limiting German super elite fighters by only flying fighters against them(no German mass Killage of Soviet bombers). Will it work????? /Shrug, don't know. But, I am going to try and make it work .
