I dropped some paratroopers on a bastion of enemy forces and now we're going to pay for it. A small group of Japanese soldiers is isolated and cut off from friend forces and is in danger of being surrounded like the Americans in Bastogne in 1944.

If you are trying for a repeat against a human opponent, then you are setting yourself up for an ambush.

I thought I had a perfect set of sweeps lined up, but instead I fed more of Kido Butai's best and brightest into the meat grinder over the US Pacific Fleet now based at Cochin, India.

There is a massive fleet of some sort forming off of Colombo on Ceylon, and I can't tell if it's a reinforcement or an evacuation fleet. Either way, we will need to deal with it.
