Turn 81 - FINAL Turn - February 15th 1944

Image

In the north, my troops take a break and refresh.

In the south, my bombers destroy a British fighter unit.

Image

A couple of British and US vessels enter the South China Sea.
A CA and CL are sunk by my forces, but I don`t have capital ships, and some of my ships are damaged.

Image

On Java, the situation for the remaining US troops is desperate.

Image

The last US unit on Rabaul is destroyed.

Image

China is more or less out of the war.
US and UK suffered heavy losses, and their National Morale is pretty low.... around 50%.

Image

But the Allies are far from being beaten.
Both sides have around 50% of the units on the board.

Image

This is the current state.

Please keep in mind I did play versus the AI, and I did not play on max difficulty settings.
For sure the result would be different.

This is the final post, because the release will be in two days.
Feel free to explore yourself if the Allied forces can do better than they did in the AAR.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,

Hyazinth von Strachwitz

Lovely, thanks very much for the AAR and for showing how much fun can be had with this game.

Tomorrow is of course at long last the big day, when everyone will have the opportunity to launch their own attacks on Pearl Harbor while invading the Philippines, Malaya and beyond!

Or to respond as the Allies, building up forces for amphibious and naval operations to reconquer the islands and advance on Japan - and I am very much looking forward to it!
